The Academy of Country Music is heartbroken by the passing of legendary country music artist John Anderson. A member of both the Country Music Hall of Fame and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Anderson was honored with the ACM Career Achievement Award in 1994. 🤍
“John Anderson had one of the most distinctive voices country music has ever known. The Academy was proud to recognize his remarkable legacy with our Career Achievement Award. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and the countless fans who have cherished his music for nearly five decades. His voice, songs, and impact on country music will live on forever.” — Andy Schuon, CEO of the Academy of Country Music
So sad to hear that @johnanderson has passed away. My all time favorite country music singer. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest easy Mr. Anderson in that Wild and Blue. 😢

If WVU had a better than horrible defense, they would make some noise this year. Wouldn’t have to be great, just average or poor, currently poor would be a vast improvement. #wvu @WVUfootball
