"We have to be prepared for the fact that this year’s festival program will be smaller and may not include all the foreign films that we would like to show, but there will be no hiatus".
"Our doubts and anxieties are still there, but we believe that festival meetings do exist for the purpose of being able to talk about all kinds of things".
"Throughout the fifteen years of BСF’s history, we have been speaking to our audiences through the language of animation on what we thought was the most important things, even if they were challenging and complicated topics. And we will continue this conversation".
Dina Goder, Program Director:
"We had a lot of discussions about how we should hold the festival and whether we should hold it at all now, as there is so much distress around. And we decided that we should".
