@newcastleraces_ -based jockey @Aaronbullock90 is hoping to bag his first G1 success in today's 2000m Spring Champion Stakes at Randwick.
And he will rely on his long time friend, Scone's @Paulmessara to help acheive his riding dream.
Bullock partners the Messara/Gavranich trained Cormier in today's $2m race, having just missed out on his maiden G1 on the same horse in the JJ Atkins at Eagle Farm in June.
Fellow Newcastle jockey Ash Morgan, partners Persian Wonder in the same race, Morgan having claimed his first Group 1 on Private Harry in the Galaxy in March last year.
Our leading Provincial trainer, Kris Lees Racing chases Group success at the same meeting, with Infancy in the 1400m G2 The Invitation & Harrybegood in the G3 1600m Callander-Presnell, both to be ridden by Dylan Gibbons #provincialracing
