Excited to have witnessed this historic event! Standing fully and firmly with and alongside you as you blaze the trail and demonstrate what it means to dismantle structural barriers for women!!!
A historic milestone 63 years in the making!!!!
What a powerful way to conclude Women’s Month! Yesterday, the EFZ Annual General Meeting officially ratified our first-ever female General Secretary. For the first time in over six decades, the mantle of leadership passes to @clarachiseko . This isn't just a change in leadership; it is a new chapter for our Secretariat and the Fellowship. Pastor Clara, we are beyond excited to see you steadily steer EFZ toward new heights. As you step into this role, we pray for an abundance of grace, strength, and divine wisdom to lead with courage. The future of EFZ looks brighter than ever. Congratulations on this well-deserved appointment!

Over the weekend, as part of our broader #humanitarian work and with the support from #Diakonia we had the opportunity to drill a borehole and set up a water kiosk for the community in Matombo, Epworth. Clean, safe, and portable water accessible to communities is fundamental for human health, economic development, and social well-being

What SADC & the AU have done for Zimbabwe,
Might not be able to stop ZANU from continuing to attempt to steal the election,
But it sure feels good.
It’s like when you have an abusive parent,
And their brother (your uncle),
Who usually watches the abuse in silence,
& Even sometimes covers up for them,
One day stands up to the abusive parent on your behalf,
And says hayi mfowethu,
That’s not how you treat kids!
As a kid you know Daddy will go back to factory settings when uncle is gone,
But for that glorious moment,
No matter how small,
You feel seen.
I’m sitting here feeling seen by SADC & the AU,
I feel like for once,
They see how ZANU has abused us.
And for now,
For this moment,
That’s enough.
