#GodzillaMinusZero is a loud, emotional, epic monster movie. Fans will love it. A couple of absolutely beautiful action set pieces that must be seen on the big screen. If you enjoyed Godzilla Minus One buy your tickets immediately for the sequel.

In film history, Stargate starring Kurt Russell and James Spader hit theaters October 28, 1994. Written by @Dean_Devlin and Roland Emmerich, who also directed, it would spawn multiple TV follow-ups. I think it's an underrated flick and probably watch Ancient Aliens because of it.

October 27, 2023, The Holdovers hit theaters. Set in 1970, it's about a strict teacher at a New England boarding school who is forced to chaperone a handful of students during the school's Christmas holiday break. It stars Paul Giamatti, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Dominic Sessa.

Go to gym. You'll feel worse for not going.

The Social Reckoning is a completely unwatchable sequel to The Social Network, but the mayor of Philadelphia is about to launch a sequel to The Big Short and give 30 year mortgages to people who can't afford it like it's 2008 all over again. These people never learn.
.@PhillyMayor Cherelle Parker tells @EmilyRPeck that the city hopes to launch its historic mortgage program “before the end of 2026.” “Imagine getting a mortgage, a 30-year commitment, with no PMI,” Parker said, and accessible “with less-than-perfect credit.” #AxiosLive

Birthday shout-out to Pedro Martinez born October 25, 1971. The Baseball Hall-of-Famer was a 3x Cy Young winner (twice with the #RedSox) and was on the 2004 Boston World Series winner. His number 45 was retired by Boston. The most dominant right-handed pitcher of his era.

Erick make sure to stay AFTER the credits, there's a cool real piece afterwards. Tell your followers on MMT too.

.@A24's Tony is one of the most underrated flicks of the year. I loved Dominic Sessa opposite Paul Giamatti and Da'Vine Joy Randolph in The Holdovers, but he might be even better as Anthony Bourdain. A24 needs to push Antonio Banderas for Best Supporting Actor as well.
Dominic Sessa was born October 25, 2002. He's from Jersey, but has been in 2 quintessential New England films. He starred opposite Paul Giamatti in The Holdovers (seen here candlepin bowling) and as Anthony Bourdain in Tony, a look at Bourdain's early cooking career on Cape Cod.

Today is National Boston Cream Pie Day! Created in 1856 by a French chef at the Parker House Hotel (now the Omni Parker House) in Boston, it's a cake and not a pie. It also makes for a great donut so swing by @KanesDonuts or your favorite shop today! #NationalBostonCreamPieDay
