We are back processing all lightning payments, incoming and outgoing. We continue upgrading many parts of the lightning infrastructure to perform better in a high-fee environment, while keeping all users secure and self-custodial.

We are working hard on a major upgrade to our lightning infrastructure in order to reactivate the processing of incoming lightning payments during the following days. Thank you for your patience!

We are experiencing intermittent issues when users receive lightning payments due to the extremely high and volatile network fees. We are working to solve this as soon as possible.

Swan Prez Gui @GuiAmadoGomes and CIO Rapha @alphazeta had dinner with some heavy hitters in Brazil and showed them how easy it was to transfer a bitcoin around the table using @muun on their phones. 6 out of 8 orange pilled instantly. h/t Wences Casares & Pete Briger.

Had an fulfulilling experience yesterday. I helped a couple who recently emigrated from Venezuela download @muun, sent them sats, and taught them how to send sats to each other. Upon realizing what exactly was happening, they started to giggle uncontrollably. It was beautiful.

Stratum V2's Job Negotiator protocol may be the most significant improvement to bitcoin miner decentralization since the inception of mining pools (2010). It takes power away from a handful of mining pools and gives it back to thousands of individual miners.

A new Stratum v2 reference implementation (SRI) update is out! It allows miners to select transactions via job negotiator sub-protocol and their bitcoin node. We’re inviting you to plug in your miners, and help us test.👇🧵 stratumprotocol.org/blog/str…
