According to interviews done by Save the Children, the majority of Palestinian CHILDREN that were taken into Israeli military detention by Israeli soldiers were subject to sexual violence or had to watch another child be subject to sexual violence.
This is insane.
What’s more insane is why @SavetheChildren has not yet dropped the report and shared it wildly?
They have previously shared updated reports on Palestinian detainee children & what they’re subject to by Israelis.
Yet, this year, when it is most crucial to document and share these crimes, they’re holding on to the report.
They have crucial testimonies and this needs to be shared. These are testimonies that were shared by children to push for accountability not to have to relive their trauma to some international organization just so they can withhold it from the public,

Outrageous attack on my colleague @FranceskAlbs by @SecRubio and the US government for just doing her job with courage, dedication and expertise. I reject this act as a criminal act of desperation which will not stand the test of time. Every sane person must reject this.
Today I am imposing sanctions on UN Human Rights Council Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese for her illegitimate and shameful efforts to prompt @IntlCrimCourt action against U.S. and Israeli officials, companies, and executives.
Albanese’s campaign of political and economic warfare against the United States and Israel will no longer be tolerated. We will always stand by our partners in their right to self-defense.
The United States will continue to take whatever actions we deem necessary to respond to lawfare and protect our sovereignty and that of our allies.

When you see this before and after how can you continue to keep children in the conditions they are in?
It’s so incredible seeing how Rahaf is doing now that she has been evacuated from Gaza and is getting the medical attention she needs. It’s CRUEL and it’s a CRIME that countless other precious children will not have this chance to get better because they are in Gaza, being kept from food, medicine and proper medical care.

This is not business as usual.
My new UN report, From Economy of Occupation to Economy of Genocide, is out today.
It shows how corporations have fueled and legitimised the destruction of Palestine.
Genocide, it would seem, is profitable. This cannot continue, accountability must follow.

This little girl was my patient. I'm surprised how little people - even MDs and keyboard warriors- know about penetrating/gunshot trauma. Let me explain what this X-Ray means, how it clearly proves this girl has a gunshot, and why the haters are oh so very wrong. A #MedTwitter 🧵

Still held captive in Israeli detention without any legal basis… His only “crime” was refusing to abandon his patients at the hospital.
Do you remember?

What embarrassed Netanyahu and made him angry in Gaza yesterday?!
On Wednesday, chiefs of Gaza families and tribes secured the passage of aid trucks from Israeli crossing to WFP’s warehouses in Gaza City and northern Gaza. No Israeli fire on starving people was reported!
Meanwhile Israeli-linked gangs could steal 75 aid trucks in the city of Khan Younis under the watch of Israeli occupation forces!
Following to this, Netanyahu and his aides claimed they had intelligence that Hamas stole the aid —no evidence provided— and decided to prepare a new plan to undermine this effort and return to dragging starving civilians to waiting for aid near the crossing and KILL or WOUND as many as they like as they used to do every day!

On the day Israel, unprovoked, has attacked Iran, killing 80 people, the president of a major European power, finally admits that in the Middle East, Israel, and only Israel, has the right to defend itself.
France has repeatedly condemned Iran’s ongoing nuclear program and has taken all appropriate diplomatic measures in response.
In this context, France reaffirms Israel’s right to defend itself and ensure its security.
To avoid jeopardizing the stability of the entire region, I call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and to de-escalate.
Following the Israeli strikes on Iran and its nuclear program, I convened the National Defence and Security Council this morning.
All necessary steps will be taken to protect our nationals and our diplomatic and military missions in the region.
All measures will also be implemented to ensure the protection of our national territory and our fellow citizens.
France stands ready to work with all its partners to push for de- escalation in the Near and Middle East.
Today, I spoke with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, the King of Jordan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, the Emir of Qatar, the German Chancellor, the British Prime Minister, and the President of the United States.
Peace and security for all in the region must remain our guiding principle.

killed
a UNDP worker,
his wife,
six of their children,
and reportedly more than 36 members of his extended family.

This is indefensible.
We are devastated by the tragic killing of our @UNDPPalestinian colleague Ramzi Khader and his family yesterday in Gaza.

The Settlers, the doc I made for the BBC, is now available to stream in the US on BBC Select. It couldn’t be more timely with the announcement today that the Israeli govt has approved construction of 22 new settlements in the West Bank - which are illegal under international law.
