A Texas-based federal judge was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and was blocked from overseeing cases after she went on a racial rant.
US District Judge Ada Brown had a misconduct complaint made against her by civil rights lawyer Ezra Young.
The judge said, “I think what’s happening, here, quite candidly, is you are very intimidated for some reason, Mr. Young, with black excellence, in light of your white mediocrity. Yeah. Right?" and "You should write that down. I mean … you look like a White man, right?”
She went on to say, “Well, you are White-presenting; is that fair to say?”
She was appointed by President Donald Trump in 2019.
Brown has recused herself from more than 40 cases since June 1.
She is still under investigation.
