I told my @saloneurope pals I wrote this for @thefiddlehd & it's here! So cool that they ask writers to recommend favorite music, poetry, dance & other arts. One more reason to love The Fiddlehead. And as always - #Stromae! thefiddlehead.ca/content/sto…...

Instead of cutting costs for working families, Donald Trump is slashing the federal investments that fund their lifesaving care, fuel their local economy, and lower their health care costs.
It’s cruel, short-sighted, and will cost jobs and devastate millions of families.

I just read an article deriding online activism saying that posting will not stop fascism. The author completely ignored how social media, with its many flaws, is a lifeline for sick & disabled people. We connect, build power together, and grieve when one of us is gone too soon
Well worth a listen! And then run, don't walk to read her work. "Gloria and Max," followed by "His Mother." TY to Lucy Caldwell's crew @FaberBooks for this link. S3 Ep29: Wendy Erskine, short story writer podbean.com/ew/dir-8xffa-d7b…

The tribute to David Lynch at Bob’s Big Boy continues to grow. Lynch went to Bob’s everyday for seven years for coffee and a milkshake. As far as memorials go, this impromptu shrine is very touching and uplifting
Congratulations, Carmen! I look forward to reading it. @SalonEurope, Carmen is a Romanian-American (w/a sprinkling of Swiss) writer and teacher to read & revere... If you don't already know each other, I'm super happy to make this introduction.

SUCH a great short story collection. I continue to think about these characters and the collection as a whole. Grateful to @NecessaryFic for the opportunity to review it.

Nice to see this Plath family photo and the thread that follows it. Nostalgic and tragic and hopeful all at once -- which is kinda what nostalgia often is, I guess.
