Driving around Purdue's campus and we see Hawkeye walking down the street. I'm just going to assume that it's just #Halloween. 🤷♂️😂

And it’s gone! Here is a picture from September 13 compared to this morning. The Colts banner is no longer on the JW Marriott.

Idiot.
Replying to @DavidPSamson
@DavidPSamson says MLB no longer needs radio: "We don't need baseball on radio anymore." The former Marlins president predicts on Nothing Personal that "radio will go the way of Kodak and Blockbuster." @JohnMamola has more. #MLB

What exactly are the @Colts doing?! "Nah, we don't like the pressure of drafting early."

The Colts lost a game to the Titans and decided they had to blow their entire franchise up. That’s how bad the Titans are.

Thank you @FOXSports! Blessed to be part of this incredible group. Fighting with an amazing family behind me. 💪
I'd check that man for a concussion. Then find him a team focused on winning, not just running up the middle into brick walls.
#Colts RB Jonathan Taylor was asked if he’s OK with being part of a rebuild.
“You think we’re rebuilding?”
Reporters: Uh, based on this week, yeah.
JT: “We going out there trying to win. … No one goes out there to wave the white flag and surrender.”

In 1993, Nirvana spent Halloween night in Akron, Ohio. Things got weird.
Kurt Cobain dressed up as Barney for the In Utero Tour stop on Halloween night at the University of Akron. He and the band came out in full costume, and Cobain had a bottle of Jack Daniel’s in hand.
Cobain reportedly drank the Jack Daniel’s through the mask’s mouth opening. Later in the show, he came out with fairy wings and a black moustache drawn on his face.
Pat Smear was dressed up as Slash, Dave Grohl (not pictured) was a mummy, and Krist Novoselic painted his face white as "reverse Ted Danson" with "PC" (politcally correct) written on his forehead. Danson had recently drawn backlash for making a public appearance in blackface during a roast of his then-girlfriend Whoopi Goldberg.
At one point in the show, someone threw a shoe at Cobain. He allegedly pissed in it, then asked who it belonged to. The owner of the shoe said it was thrown on stage by another audience member. Cobain apologized and said he'd buy them a new pair of shoes.
Tickets were $18.50, and they didn’t perform “Smells Like Teen Spirit” that night. This ended up being Nirvana's final performance in the state of Ohio.
Bro, pay attention. They don't seem to want more. I'm half surprised they didn't just let them walk. At best, we're probably 5 seasons away from a playoff run *IF* someone around there figures out what they're doing. #Colts
Some team executives are wondering why the #Colts were in such a rush to trade Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner today with the trade deadline still two weeks away.
Nelson and Buckner were, in the eyes of some, the top G and DT available on this year’s trade market.
The interest — and potentially the value — for both players likely would have increased as the deadline approached and teams entered “now-or-never” mode.
There’s a strong argument that the Colts could’ve gotten more.
That wasn't a bad thing. Sometimes I really miss the old ways. Digital tickets suck.
#tbt - I could be wrong, so someone please correct me if you know the 💯 facts.
It wasn't until the very late 1990's or the first Formula One race Indianapolis Motor Speedway accepted credit cards to purchase race tickets. Before then it was only checks, cash or money orders.
It must be close to #Halloween when you step out of your door and hear someone blaring Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565".
What's on the #Halloween2026 docket?
My plan is to pass out treats. No littles to take out anymore, which is a different phase of life.
You're literally five games into the season and it appears like all of the starters are injured? What in the world is going on over there?! Sports in this town is something else right now!

Remembering YEARS ago when Pat got pissed at me as he took something out of context. But the dude has grown on me. And this public behavior is insane. There's a reason I'm not as visible as I once was...the world has gone mad. I can't imagine what he's going through.
It’s been a fun October.. excited to get to Halloween. Here’s a couple fun screenshots from this month.
I don’t know if Karey from Derry is real or not but, the picture on the left is from a very real man in Ohio.
I’ve stayed away from my mentions and DM’s this month since these back to back days but.. I’m sure if I went in there now, I’d find some wishes for and threats of death for me.
“Don’t read them.” They’re everywhere.
Annnd.. They still exist though right? I just don’t know the person is in Ohio then? That’s where I’m at now. So I do get a bit fucked up when a couple days after The New York Times releases a “WE ARE ALLOWED TO AND SHOULD HATE THIS GUY” piece, a University puts a video out from their own page, indicating “we think he’s a corny creep here.” It’s a weird time. The things that get said about what my daughter and son and wife deserve are all rather wild as well.
I haven’t talked to anybody about what the days were like leading up to Tennessee’s GameDay last year. There’s been some misreporting but in the ball park articles. Everybody in the “security” world was worried of a copycat incident potentially happening. GameDay was a few days out and we were the next huge gathering on a campus. The world, in front of the entire internet, just proved that we had gotten to a rather extreme place.
The FBI.. alongside, Disney security, Tennessee State Police, Knoxville PD, University Police, everybody in area, all had the very same goal to protect the shit out of the area. FBI snipers were sent down there, huge presence of police.. it was a surreal moment. The conversation about the death threats I had been receiving in life was definitely a huge topic. I don’t think it was the FBI that suggested the Bullet Proof Vest, but it was certainly an idea presented by one of the security groups. We had no idea what to expect. Nobody had been in that type of situation before. Everybody wanted the best for everybody. I never felt safer and never felt more appreciative of the people that were around me that morning including the students that came out and did WAY more than they could’ve ever imagined for my soul.
How’d we get here? I had to wrestle with that a bit. FBI’s sending snipers so me and the lads don’t get shot. That’s crazy. I don’t know if they teach how you’re supposed to handle these types of things in classes or something but, I was a bit rattled by the current reality of my World.
I think what I realized was, when I talked about the Algerian Olympic Gold Medal boxer, and then I was HEADLINE Quoted and Captioned by platforms with rather large influence over certain communities, they left out the massive empathy part of the conversation that I had about the entire subject. I was labeled and immediately targeted. Such is life I guess.. since then, every mistake, misstep or misquote relaunches A LOT of folks into a frenzy of me being the worst person on Earth who needs to be eliminated, and they gain more and more folks who want me unalived or as they actually say it “Kirked.”
I was created on the internet. I’ve been “cooked” and shit talked and criticized since I have memories. I am no where near perfect.. and there’s no way everybody is gonna agree with me but I had no idea that this is just what life would become.
I’m trying my best in real time but.. I am to talk about sports and care about the future of sports. I owe everything to sports. I’m grateful as hell to do what I do. I literally try to love every minute of the incredible opportunities I get to experience but.. it’s certainly all a much different life than I could’ve ever expected.
I try to give everything I have, all the time.. I am very sorry to those that despise me.
The video is how I opened The Tennessee show.. I put on a USA Sports Coat and celebrated Ball. I love sports because it’s unifying. That’s all I’m ever trying to be… actually.
& Connor.. I LOVE YOU BROTHER, I’m sorry I’ve brought you lads into all of this as well.
I'm not sure that they can pull that one off, but good luck!
