BYU allowed 138 yards on Utah's first two drives today. Since then, the Cougars have allowed just 32 yards.
BYU's defense is getting killed by explosives. Utah has ran seven total plays, with four of them accounting for 133 yards alone. The Cougars are defending like they're back at UCF.

Fired up Kalani Sitake ... shades of 2016 Kalani at RES. He was getting after the refs, wanting that review.

Sure feels like this year’s basketball team is what we had hoped last year’s would be. What a fun team to watch

Sources: BYU star tailback LJ Martin is considered questionable to return Saturday against No. 3 Utah. He’s cleared to practice and has been available this week. If he’s back, he’s not expected to be 100-percent and could be limited.

Talked about my 80% résumé (SOR, Résumé SP+), 20% quality (SP+, FPI) computer rankings mix in the Sunday column. The CFP committee is FAR more skewed toward the SEC than the computers. 2.6 spots per team, on average. Good lord.

There’s no dumber saying in college football than “___ controls its destiny.” We can’t ignore the reality that some teams are allowed to lose without consequence while others aren’t. “All BYU has to do is win at No. 3.” “All Notre Dame has to do is beat No. 1.” It’s a lazy argument that ignores the very different standards teams are being held to.
ND @NDFootball controls its destiny; not the committee. Win out & i think theyre top-4 w/ a bye. Lose this week, gonna need a Jenga tower. Hat tip @AndrewMentock for the question to Yurachek, who’s just not cut for that role:
