My book “Homesick” comes out in a month! The book asks the question of how shelter became exposure in the US and what we can do about it. dukeupress.edu/homesick (discount code: E25SHPRO)
An image of the book cover, featuring the short end of a single wide trailer that is all white with a tow hitch protruding, with praise from Max Liboiron “Ethical, methodological brilliance.” a short summary of the book as follows: tracing the legacy of toxic housing from the spread of formaldehyde exposure in Fema Trailer to the broader fight for cleaner indoor air homesick reveals how homes themselves have become sites of both harm and Hope. Preorder now use discount code “E25SHPRO“ for 30% off.

People don’t realize how good this UCLA team was. Jaime Jaquez Jr., Jaylen Clark, Adem Bona, and Amari Bailey all have bright NBA careers ahead of them. David Singleton NEVER missed an open three. Tyger Campbell was as good of a four-year point guard as you will find in college basketball. Late season injuries are the only thing that kept this team from winning it all 💔

stickers I doodled for my students to teach them about STEM. every single character is based off a person (a student, family member, or friend). I’m not an artist by any means but I love them 🥰

In all the news of the fires in Southern California, I am hardly seeing anyone speak up about the Indigenous communities impacted. Prayers for Chumash & Gabrieleno Kizh homelands. Returning lands to Indigenous hands is needed now more than ever. Stay safe
