Of course they can -
馃 They design roads and bridges. They design the equipment for planes and space flight. They are the programmers of items you count on every day. They provide vital nursing care. They expertly take the scans that quite often save lives. They even look after your dental health.
馃 So you see - swimming is easy

Recent publication coauthored by David Grossnickle, a professor of biology at Oregon Tech. It builds on his work that uses dimensions of mammalian limb bones to test hypotheses on the evolution of locomotor modes like gliding, climbing, and power flying (bats).
The #TeamSquirrel triology is complete! Led by undergrad @AbbyEBurtner, we (with D Grossnickle & @SESantanaM) tested the selective regimes acting on mammalian limbs to examine聽the gliding-to-flying hypothesis in the origin of bat flight.
