Mobile PLI stats as follows:
Government incentive paid: Rs 19,000 Cr.
Direct tax collected: Rs 25,000 Cr.
GST collected: Rs 3,00,000 Cr.
Electronics manufacturing employs 25 Lakh people; mobile manufacturing alone employs 12 Lakh.
Cope harder!!
One in four iPhones is made in India, but imported parts and costly subsidies complicate the success story. @andymukherjee70 takes apart an iPhone to explain why copying China's manufacturing model may not pay off 🎥
Suggest reading $ant’s S1 filings. Very interesting.
I see it & project second order effects .
PS: Not a financial recommendation

Are these details available to read in their RHP ?

Proud to be part of this lineage. My parameshti guru in Advaita Vedanta. Swami Chinmayananda was a lion among teachers. A powerful orator and an embodiment of wisdom.
IMHO, no one stands above him as an expounder of Vedanta.
For those who are drawing vicarious pleasure by sharing a half-doctored video of gurudev @Chinmayananda 's video, let me remind you his history.
His quest towards spirituality started with a sojourn to expose religion and religious gurus post india's independence. He called religion as the opium of masses and religious gurus as charlatans, only to be drawn deeply into hindu(advaita) philosophy after meeting and having a debate with swami sivananda(a doctor turned hindu ascetic).
He trained at advaita vedanta for more than a decade in deep forests at rishikesh only to enter into worldly life to teach and remind masses of our glorious past with blessings from his revered gurus.
He was also one of the founding fathers of VHP(vishwa hindu parishad (although never held any formal post since he was an ascetic) and worked closely with ashok singhal and other members of RSS to re-ignite the movement of ramjanambhoomi much before bjp has took the limelight.
I have personally learnt tidbits of advaita philosophy after reading and listening to some of his lectures and joining chyk at @ChinmayaMission

@slingoorio has taken a lead there. So much velocity in the trenches.
Had gone through multiple posts on VD and Rashmika interview in KJ’s show.
In an increasingly polarized, highly opinionated, and social-media-dricen world, it does not make sense to put anyone's private life in public for the sake of social validation.
You are at risk of putting your entire relationship status at stake for the sake of social media validation, which does not make any sense.
A relationship has to be protected, understood & nurtured only in private between two individuals, and nobody else has any business in interfering in it without the consent btw two individuals.
The world, however, does not work that way any longer . People will always have their own biases, and they will try to rub their opinions on others irrespective of what two individuals have been going through.
Maybe it has always been the way since time immemorial. So, it doesn't make sense for anyone to put their private lives at stake. If you want to get social validation, there are better ways to do it, especially for people who are celebrities.

In the last 2 weeks, one man in India quietly did what AI labs spend billions chasing. And nobody noticed.
Jitesh Prasad, a physics grad from the University of North Bengal and MBA from IIM Lucknow, runs a one man lab called Udgam. Between Oct 10 and 23, he shipped 5 open AI models and a public benchmark.
There is Laghu, a chat model trained from scratch for $146. The full cost ledger is public, failures included: 8 rented GPUs, 13.2 hours, all in < $200.
There is Shruti, a Hindi-English-Hinglish speech to text model in a single 29.5 MB file. It runs offline inside a browser tab.
On the same Hindi test clips it makes fewer errors than OpenAI's Whisper large-v3, a file a 100x its size. On English, he tells you plainly, Whisper wins.
There is Gargi, a 384M reasoning model named after the Vedic philosopher Gargi Vachaknavi. Trained on 17B tokens, about a 1,000x less data than Alibaba's Qwen2.5-0.5B, and within 2 points of it on reasoning tests. On knowledge tests, his own model card admits, it loses badly.
Everything is Apache-2.0 on Hugging Face: weights, code, checkpoints, evaluations, even the $0.45 spent discovering a failed run.
No funding round. No press release. Just one man, thirteen days, and the belief that honest numbers matter more than big ones.

Photo 1: Shruti model card WER table - 29.5 MB Shruti beating Whisper large-v3 (3,087 MB) on all three Hindi sets, with Whisper's English wins visible.
Photo 2: Laghu's public cost ledger - $146.26 for the main run, ~$194 all-in, even the $0.03 X search row.
Photo 3: Gargi vs Qwen2.5-0.5B - 384M on ~0.017T tokens vs 494M on ~18T, within 2 points on reasoning, honest MMLU gap in the same rows.

Seeing a lot of growing raw hatred against India, Indians, Hindus, Indian-Americans, etc. for no reason.
Would be happy to have anyone who feels that hatred quietly unfollow me. Simple. Clean. Thanks in advance.
