This is the kind of clear-eyed thinking I've come to expect from separatists. "Why can't I mail in my special ballot and then ALSO vote in person in the same referendum?"

This is disinformation. The post is from a US election, and none of the information is accurate to an Alberta electoral event (the R and D are irrelevant in Alberta, and there are no poll managers title in Alberta). Its distribution is designed to mislead Alberta electors.

False information about voting rule changes is spreading on social media originating from the Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre area. Electors voting in person must vote in their electoral division for advance voting. Report disinformation to social platforms and Elections AB.

Thomas Lukaszuk: "My message to all Albertans is don't miss this vote. This is the most important vote probably that we will ever participate in our lifetimes. 50 or 100 years from now, children will be studying this in social studies classes and they will be judging us on who we were."

Mayor of Calgary: "It's really rich to see from some of these leaders in the separatist movement, they talk a lot about freedom, they talk a lot about sovereignty. And when they go down south of the border, offering our water, our land, our oil, this is not about taking back Alberta, this is about selling out Alberta."

Statistics Canada, literally today:
"The population of Canada reached an estimated 41,798,407 people on July 1, 2026, an increase of 189,425 people from July 1, 2025. This is the lowest annual growth in total size since 1944-45 and the lowest growth in percentage since 1915-16."
Canada is destroying itself by allowing millions and millions of people into the Country, essentially unchecked and unvetted, and who are causing problems that will soon be too big to handle. It is a Liberal takeover that will end very badly. Already showing up in their numbers. Big unemployment. ‘Oh Canada! President DJT

Never about people dying in her hospitals, the teachers she abused, or the kids who’ve suffered under her
