🇱🇻 nCureLab in Riga!
Our PhD student Paulina Dudzik visited NIRI through COST Action SIGMA-1 EUROPE, gaining experience in in vivo studies of social behavior.
Many thanks to Dr. Līga Zvejniece and Dr. Baiba Švalbe for their warm welcome!
🧠 New research from nCure Lab!
NLX-101, a biased 5-HT1A agonist, improved working memory and cognitive flexibility under NMDA receptor hypofunction, alongside enhanced prefrontal ERK2 phosphorylation.

🐰 Happy Easter from the Laboratory of Experimental Neuropharmacology
Wishing you a peaceful Easter and a joyful holiday break.
May spring bring fresh energy, new ideas, and inspiration in both work and everyday life ✨
Great news! 🎉
SSG Neuropharm students, supervised in @ncure_lab (Faculty of Pharmacy JU MC), received a student research grant to study the molecular effects of MG-7 in the prefrontal cortex after a mouse model of chronic stress. Congrats to the team! 👏
Our new paper in Neurotherapeutics shows that the multimodal compound HBK-15 reverses memory deficits under NMDA receptor hypofunction via sigma-1 receptor activation.
