Thrilled to share the official cover for my new book, “Holy Ground: On Activism, Environmental Justice, and Finding Hope,” on shelves January 28, 2025 and now available for pre-order at spiegelandgrau.com/holygroun…. This collection of essays is deeply personal to me and one I felt needed to be shared now. In the book, I explore urgent political issues of this moment through stories from my own life, shining a light on the need for policies that support and empower communities and individuals. Above all, this is a collection of pieces about faith – how the galvanizing force of sermons has not only served to guide and uplift me personally, morally, politically throughout my life, but can also summon our collective empathy and action as we work towards a more just society and world.
