Deflation is the natural state of things.
All deflation is good. Inflation is a consequence of government printing and a hidden tax on the masses.
The fact that we’ve fallen for the psyop that says inflation is good is crazy.
“It's good deflation, meaning it causes a boom in growth.” @CathieDWood on why she believes falling prices driven by technology are nothing like the deflation investors were taught to fear.

I’m 40 — I probably look 40 — but my three babies (+ one who recently went to heaven) are the best thing I’ve ever done. They keep me young, bring me joy, expand my heart, amplify my purpose, and provide the best company.
Those are smile wrinkles … and they’re all worth it.🥰
I'm 56 but look 15 years younger. The reason I look so good? I don't have children. Before the inevitable pile-on begins, there IS evidence that having kids turbocharges ageing: INGE VAN LOTRINGEN trib.al/WZ7yYs7

This article misrepresents available scientific evidence.
Studies suggest that women who have 2-3 kids are healthiest in old age.
In particular, having one or more sons is associated with lower dementia risk among women.

This is the government trying to hide what we all see when we go to the store.
Inflation has been running at about 8% for a good long while.
The market will heavily discount today's PCE inflation data.
Why? Because the US just changed the way PCE inflation is calculated:
Beginning with today’s release, the US changed the methodology for 3 key PCE inflation categories and revised data back to 2021:
1. Portfolio management/investment advice
2. Computer software/accessories
3. Legal services
The biggest change is in portfolio management fees. Under the old methodology, rising asset values could show up partly as higher "prices" for portfolio management services.
For example, if an adviser charged 1% of assets and the portfolio rose 20%, the dollar fee would rise 20% even though the adviser did not raise the 1% fee.
The new methodology uses an employment-based measure to estimate the quantity of services, reducing the amount of the increase that is classified as inflation.
For software, the US now uses a broader composite. For legal services, an unpublished CPI series is being replaced because it had become "unusually volatile."
We estimate the methodology alone could reduce Core PCE inflation by up to 20 basis points.
In the PCE inflation data released just now, both headline and Core PCE inflation were revised down by 30 basis points for July.
We do not interpret the entire 30 basis point drop as disinflation.
Part of it is literally a measurement change.
There seems to be a class of people who enjoy thinking that they’re at the end of humanity.
Whether you call it Judgement Day, climate change, or AI, it seems to make people feel important to think that the end of existence will happen while they’re alive.
Palmer Luckey says most AI doomers have barely studied the threats they claim will destroy humanity
“I am kind of frustrated by a lot of people who are new to the dooming hobby. It’s sort of like how we had to deal with the war in Ukraine."
"All of a sudden, all these people who have had the dumbest opinions you’ve ever heard about the military for their whole life, and people who believed we lived at the end of history, that we had moved past conflict, that we lived in a world where you could just write a nasty letter in the UN, forgetting that that only works if it’s backed up by credible threat of violence, all of a sudden they change their minds."
"You’re seeing this with AI."
"People who have not thought about this problem for more than a couple years, or maybe even just a couple months, are saying, ‘Oh my God, this is the biggest threat to humanity.’"
"These are people who have spent almost no time actually analyzing what the largest threats to humanity are. They haven’t spoken to any of the experts in this area. They certainly weren’t buying freeze-dried food and building prepper bunkers, you know, like me and many of my buddies who have indulged fantasies about what doom could look like and also thought realistically about it."
"And so, yeah, AI doom is way down the list for me.”

"Introduction to Quantum Mechanics" is a free textbook that clearly introduces the mathematical foundations of quantum mechanics. Despite the subject's complexity, it is quite accessible if you already have a strong background in calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations.
The book covers the origins of quantum mechanics and develops the Schrödinger equation, Hilbert spaces, operators and eigenvalues, Dirac notation, the uncertainty principle, and symmetry and conservation laws. It then moves on to solutions of the Schrödinger equation, finite and infinite square wells, tunneling, the harmonic potential, the hydrogen atom, angular momentum, spin, entanglement and Bell's inequality, perturbation theory, and the electronic structure of atoms, molecules, and solids.
I think it's an interesting read if you want to explore the mathematics behind quantum mechanics, one of the most fascinating areas of modern physics.

I reread this every year.
I cry like a baby every year.
Todd Beamer died a father, husband, and hero.
Todd: Hello… Operator… listen to me. I can’t speak very loud. This is an emergency. I’m a passenger on a United flight to San Francisco. Our plane has been hijacked.
Lisa: I understand. Can they see you?
Todd: No. There are three that we know of. They have knives — razor knives, like box cutters. Someone announced from the cockpit there was a bomb. It sounded fake.
Lisa: Your name?Todd: Todd Beamer. United Flight 93.Todd: They killed one passenger in first class. They forced most of us back. Fourteen of us here. Five flight attendants. The guy with the bomb ordered us to sit on the floor.
Lisa: Are you okay?
Todd: We’re going down… wait. No. We’re leveling off. We changed directions. We’re flying east again.
Todd: A guy named Jeremy called his wife. She told him two planes hit the World Trade Center. Lisa, is that true?
Lisa: I have to tell you the truth. It’s very bad. Both towers are gone. A third plane hit the Pentagon. Our country is under attack. I’m afraid your plane may be part of their plan.
Todd: Oh God. Lisa, will you do something for me? Call my wife and my kids. Promise me you’ll call.
Lisa: I promise.
Todd: Our home number is… You have the same name as my wife. Lisa. We’ve been married ten years. She’s pregnant with our third child. Tell her I love her. I’ll always love her. We have two boys — David, he’s 3, and Andrew, he’s 1. Tell them their daddy loves them and he is so proud of them. The baby is due January 12th. I saw an ultrasound. We still don’t know if it’s a girl or a boy.
Lisa: I’ll tell them. I promise, Todd.(Lisa patches in the FBI.)
Agent: Todd, your plane is on a course for Washington. Best guess is the White House or the Capitol.
Todd: I understand. I’ll be back.
Todd: Everyone knows this isn’t a normal hijacking. We have decided we will not be pawns in their plot.
Lisa: What are you going to do?
Todd: Four of us are going to rush the one with the bomb. Then the cockpit. A stewardess is getting boiling water. We’ll take them out.
Todd: Would you pray with me?They pray the Lord’s Prayer. Then: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.
Todd: God help me. Jesus help me.Are you guys ready? Let’s Roll.
We now have:
1. President Trump offering $5,000 “dividend” checks to all American adults
2. Oil prices officially back above $100 per barrel
3. Total US debt above a record $40 trillion
4. Inflation above 2% for 60 consecutive months
5. One of the biggest technological revolutions in modern history
6. The Fed facing pressure to cut rates while inflation remains above target
This is your advance notice to position yourself accordingly.
A 7% raise is actually a pay cut.

Money supply is increasing, the limit on fractional reserve banking is currently 0%, and the US government is going into record debt per month. All of this indicates that $GLD should go up.
It will, but before that happens, everyone's portfolio's reduce value, which 1/x
will $GLD drop? I have no idea. How will it rise? Answer: exponentially, just like the money supply.
Our government will have to inflate its way out of our debt just by printing additional dollars. That's their only option.
It would be far better 3/x
for everyone if we had a fiscally responsible government. All prices would drop, employment would increase, and dollars would increase in value with time (i.e., deflation).
Instead, our govts are finding new ways to pretend to "give" people money. fox32chicago.com/news/trump-…
