If @WhiteHouse stands behind its decision to tax citizens, then how is it a hostile political move for @amazon to display transparent pricing? It makes it 100% easier for US consumers to make purchasing decisions and identify brands that price gouge after the tariffs are removed.
Amazon is reportedly planning to display tariff costs for consumers, prompting public pushback from White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday. abcnews.link/asf99tE

Due process is not a partisan privilege, it’s a constitutional right. It means the government can’t punish you without fair legal procedures. It protects everyone, regardless of party, status, or accusation. If we start debating who deserves it, we’re not just misunderstanding the law, we’re unraveling this democracy.

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions – rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking concrete steps to make sure all students at Harvard can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope other institutions follow suit.

Trump is openly defying a Supreme Court order because he knows that in this moment, no one has the courage or desire to stand in his way. What consequence does he face? None. A Constitution can only be defended if someone is willing to uphold the law. Once he got immunity from the Supreme Court, it was game over.

I want to tell you why the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia should matter to you. The one power you cannot give the executive is the ability to imprison or expel anyone regardless of their legal rights. That is our key check against autocracy. And we are watching it disappear.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett is bold, brilliant, and unafraid to speak truth to power. She carries the fire of our ancestors — Angela, Fannie Lou, Maxine — and fights daily for justice. @JasmineForUS is our now and our future. We must support our modern day freedom fighters! 🎥: @RTSolutions2017

The Supreme Court was clear: the Trump administration must act to facilitate the return of Kilmer Abrego Garcia to the United States. There is no room for debate — yet Trump is refusing, in defiance of a lawful court order. Every member of Congress should be standing up for the Constitution and demanding that the administration act to return Mr. Abrego Garcia to the U.S. and to his family. And we must all remember an attack on the right to Due Process of anyone is a threat to the due process rights of everyone.

The university will not surrender its independence or relinquish its constitutional rights. Neither Harvard nor any other private university can allow itself to be taken over by the federal government. hrvd.me/ResearchFunding25t

We had PLENTY of evidence Timothy McVeigh was a terrorist. We had PLENTY of evidence Bin Laden was a terrorist. We had PLENTY of evidence the Boston Marathon Bombers were terrorists. Where's the evidence that Abrego Garcia is a terrorist? He doesn't even have a criminal record. WHERE. IS. THE. EVIDENCE?

They passed a resolution to bring a $4.5 trillion budget to the floor. Their budget: ➡️ Adds trillions to the debt ➡️ Cuts nearly $1 trillion in healthcare ➡️ Spends trillions on tax giveaways to Elon Musk and the uber-wealthy

If @Skype is going away, then Skype credit should be refunded to users. It is wrong for @Microsoft to keep the funds paid but take away the service. This is also true if you do not want to use @MicrosoftTeams in lieu of Skype. How will you rectify this? #help

As Trump tanks the economy, he knows he and his billionaire buddies will be fine no matter what. If you and your family have more to lose, make sure your member of Congress hears from you. huffpost.com/entry/financial…

When they started firing people along with playing with the tariff talk, I said we were headed towards a recession. MAGA said I was wishing that the president failed… I said it’s basic economics… Well… MAGA will say I’m “ghetto” “DEI” & whatever else, but I was RIGHT! Privilege looks like giving people like Trump who on paper is a failure on economics (6 bankruptcies), yet still be upset with Obama and would have never given him the latitude to destroy everything & ask questions later. In short, if you wouldn’t have accepted this from Kamala, you shouldn’t accept it from Trump.. PERIOD!

Been listening to @SenBooker for several hours and I am so proud of his actions. Even more so, I am happy that there are people speaking the truth and sharing the comments and concerns of the American people.

Social Security is not the government’s money to spend. It’s the hard-earned savings of working Americans that belongs to Americans. Trump and Musk need to keep their hands off of money that isn’t theirs to take.
