Quick update on passage-based ranking. I have dug in pretty heavily since it rolled out and haven't seen any major impact. That makes sense given what Google has explained about PBR. It only impacts longer, unstructured content. The yawn gif below sums up what I found so far. :)
Re passage-based ranking, remember what @g33konaut said in Nov: "There's nothing you need to do or worry about. It just helps pages that aren't well-structured to potentially rank for queries. If you have good, well-structured content, this will be the least interesting thing..."

Great spot by @type_SEO. This Featured Snippet test from Nov 2020 has returned. Previously showing for an AI generated Web Story from Google, now for an independent site. The FS content has links that aren't embedded on the web page. Similar to how Wikipedia does referencing.
