Britain argues about small boats every single week. Nobody asks why Sudan's islamists are pushing the next Syria-sized wave headed straight for Europe. Sudan is displacing people at a scale most of Westminster hasn't registered. Nearly 12 million driven from their homes since 2023 by a military that isn't some rogue faction it's the same Islamist officer class that sheltered bin Laden in the '90s and ran the Darfur genocide. Chemical weapons, hospital strikes, starvation as strategy. Thirty million people need aid just to eat. That's a bigger displacement crisis than Syria at its absolute worst, and Syria alone nearly fractured the EU. You all know I've been tracking this network for months the same Brotherhood infrastructure funded through Qatar, the same ideology now embedding itself in European institutions while everyone debates immigration numbers and nobody asks what's producing them. The pattern from Sudan is not complicated. Egypt or Chad first. Then Libya. Then a boat. It's already accelerating. Washington sanctioned the procurement networks behind Sudan's chemical weapons in June. Britain sanctioned nothing. We fund the aid budget that keeps displaced Sudanese alive and say absolutely nothing to the generals who displaced them in the first place. You cannot manage a small boats crisis by treating it as a border logistics problem. It's downstream of political Islam capturing a state and starving its own people to hold power. Until Britain names that, it's just bailing water while the tap stays open. express.co.uk/news/world/222…

ISIS published a guide titled "Burn down your first forest and exhaust the workers of the tyrant," timed to Britain's worst wildfire season on record. LBC infiltrated the forum where it's being shared, deliberately not naming the site, since some of the material includes practical instructions on setting fires and evading detection. The guide specifically targets moments when wildfires are most dangerous and emergency services already stretched thin. Moustafa Ayad at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, confirmed this isn't new doctrine. ISIS has promoted arson as a tactic since at least 2017, when its Rumiyah magazine ran it under a "Just Terror Tactics" series. In 2019, its own newsletter told followers to "roll up your sleeves and begin the harvest," explicitly framing burned farmland and homes as legitimate economic targets. Meanwhile France has arrested 402 people this summer alone over more than 14,000 fires, prosecutors in the Var region are actively investigating whether the latest surge was deliberately set.

Iran's new supreme leader owns a £200 million London property empire. UK sanctions are now forcing pieces of it onto the market. Mojtaba Khamenei was named supreme leader after his father was killed in a strike on a Tehran compound this February. A Bloomberg investigation traced his London holdings to two Kensington penthouses bought for £35.75 million through a suspected frontman, an Iranian banker later sanctioned as a suspected financier for the IRGC, plus 11 mansions on Hampstead's "Billionaires' Row" purchased through an Isle of Man shell company. That frontman has now defaulted on the mortgages. The British government authorised receivership, forcing the two penthouses onto the market, one already dropped from £19 million toward under £12 million. Think about what this actually confirms. The supreme leader of a regime that executes protesters and controls its population through fear was quietly parking hundreds of millions in London property through shell companies and proxies, while his country's citizens went without. This wasn't hidden from Iranian intelligence services. It was hidden from the British public, until sanctions forced the paperwork into daylight. thetimes.com/world/middle-ea…

Austria's left co-signed a constitutional ban on political Islam. Denmark's left just banned the call to prayer nationwide. Same week, same continent, same conclusion from the left. Chancellor Stocker: "A political interpretation of Islam is incompatible with democracy and Western values." Left-wing State Secretary Jörg Leichtfried backed him: "A democracy must defend itself when a religion is exploited to attack that state." Austria's been building to this for years, sixty Turkish state-linked imams expelled in 2018, the Brotherhood formally banned in 2021, its literature carrying fines and jail time since. Then this: Austrian intelligence found a Hamas weapons cache in Vienna belonging to the son of a senior Hamas political official, alongside evidence of a father-son meeting in Qatar the same month, timing that suggests Hamas leadership itself may have signed off. Denmark's left made the same call. Their own immigration minister banned the call to prayer nationwide, saying plainly some neighborhoods already resemble "a suburb of Islamabad."
Austria’s proposed ban on political Islam is not coming from the populist right alone. Conservatives, liberals, and Social Democrats are converging around the idea that Islamism is a political threat to democratic institutions. @giuliomeotti examines a striking shift in Europe’s debate. meforum.org/mef-online/austr…

Ban the Muslim Brotherhood. Not because they're inconvenient. Because they're criminals. Every government has the sovereign right to decide who crosses its border. That's not controversial, it's the baseline of statehood. What's controversial is that Europe still treats Brotherhood-linked figures as activists with a difficult message, rather than what several governments have already concluded they are. Egypt banned them. Saudi Arabia banned them. The UAE banned them. The US designated Brotherhood chapters as terrorist organisations this year. Austria banned them outright in 2021, their slogans and literature now carry fines and jail time. That's not five countries with a grudge. That's a pattern, built on documented funding networks, weapons caches and political infiltration, not vibes. I've watched what happens when a country decides "activist" is a safer word than "terrorist." Sudan called them politicians too, right up until they captured the state. You don't debate with an organisation that's already told you its goal. You designate it, and you close the door.

In July, the European Parliament expelled the Muslim Brotherhood's youth network for threatening European values. In September, the EU is funding its next event. FEMYSO, youth branch of the Council of European Muslims, the Brotherhood's own keystone organization in Europe, is hosting a European Action Day Against Islamophobia on September 21, openly boasting it's EU-supported. Florence Bergeaud-Blackler didn't mince words: "By co-funding and by hosting, the EU gives it legitimacy, and that is precisely what FEMYSO is seeking: to capture institutional resources and authority. If the EU funds this again in full knowledge of the facts, it could be regarded as complicity." FEMYSO's defense: they receive no funding "directly," only through a consortium. That distinction changes nothing about where the money ends up.

A 14-year-old girl was raped by a man who'd been in Britain less than a week. The government's response was a leaflet. A new Spiked investigation lays out named case after named case, Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Brighton beach, Bristol, Manchester, all Afghan or Eritrean asylum seekers, all convicted of raping women and children after entering Britain illegally. Police in Nuneaton were secretly briefed not to reveal a suspect's immigration status. The Ministry of Justice went to court this year to block release of foreign offending data a think tank had already been approved to receive. Here's what shames me most as someone who fled a country where women's bodies are policed by the state: Britain's own Home Office is now handing newly arrived asylum seekers information booklets explaining that both people must consent to sex, and that sex with a child under 16 is illegal. Think about what that admission actually means. The state knows exactly what it's importing, and its response was a leaflet, not a screening process. The countries these men overwhelmingly come from, Afghanistan, Iran, Eritrea, are places where a woman's body is not her own. FGM in 9 out of 10 girls. Domestic violence written into law as acceptable so long as it leaves no visible mark. State-enforced modesty backed by violence. Pretending that culture arrives at Dover and simply disappears is not compassion. It's negligence dressed up as virtue. I watched governments look away from exactly this kind of denial before. It never ends well. Britain needs to stop calling this racism and start calling it what it is: a state that has decided protecting its own reputation matters more than protecting women and girls. spiked-online.com/2026/09/04…

Dead scorpions in the desert. That's the forensic proof a chlorine bomb test worked. The New York Times obtained a dossier of nearly 150 documents, photos, videos and thousands of text messages, pulled directly from senior Sudanese officers' own phones, exposing exactly how General Burhan's army built and tested chemical weapons over six months in 2024. Chlorine diverted from a water-treatment plant in Omdurman, aid meant to keep civilians alive, weaponized instead against them. Nearly 300 chemical munitions produced by October. And here's what tells you exactly who Burhan really is. The moment US sanctions hit, intercepted messages show he personally ordered the general who built the programme to "remove all traces" of it. Then he put that same general on the committee investigating the allegations. The committee's finding, obviously, no evidence found. This isn't incompetence. It's a cover-up run by the men who committed the crime. Sudan's military spokesman called the Times' evidence baseless and threatened to sue the paper in US court. He can threaten whoever he wants. The dossier came from inside his own ranks. I don't need to be convinced that an Islamist-embedded military capable of genocide is capable of gassing its own people and lying about it. I watched this exact script before, deny, obstruct, put the perpetrator in charge of the investigation. The only thing new this time is the New York Times has the phones to prove it. Austria just tried a second time to ban headscarves for schoolgirls under 14. The first attempt got struck down by the constitutional court for violating "religious freedom." Nina Scholz, an Austrian author who's written on this for years, makes the argument that's never answered honestly: the hijab on a child isn't a private matter of faith. It's a visible marker of gender inequality, imposed before a girl is old enough to consent to it, that directly contradicts the basic educational principle of raising children toward equality between the sexes. Her major point, the one that should stop everyone defending this as "just religious freedom": in higher school grades, girls who don't wear the headscarf face real peer pressure, and get labeled dishonorable, disrespected, less than, by classmates their own age. That's not personal piety. That's a hierarchy, enforced by children on children. Austria's Islamic umbrella body, the IGGÖ, is already preparing to challenge this law in court again, on the same grounds as before. A child's right to grow up without being sorted into "honorable" and "dishonorable" categories based on a piece of fabric should never lose to an adult's claim of religious freedom. If that principle can't survive contact with a courtroom, the problem isn't the law. It's what we've decided freedom of religion is allowed to protect.
Das jedenfalls hoffe ich. kurier.at/meinung/das-kopftu… derstandard.at/story/2000092… #Kopftuch #Kopftuchverbot #Österreich

Austria's chancellor just said "political Islam" out loud and put it in a constitutional bill. Europe should have done this a decade ago. I watched this exact delay play out before, in the country I left. Governments talk themselves out of naming the thing until it's too late to stop it. Stocker's own party voted down this same proposal from the opposition, more than once. Now he needs that same opposition's votes to pass it. The FPÖ is right to call this what it is: years late.

The Muslim Brotherhood has split into three rival factions fighting over money and legitimacy. During last year's regional conflict, the group couldn't even agree on who to support Independent research from Rasanah's Journal for Iranian Studies confirms it: London's faction openly backed Iran, other branches rejected that position outright, Istanbul stayed silent. One movement, no unified voice. The split runs deeper than politics. London controls most of the group's European banking access, now facing systematic asset freezes. Istanbul has spent years trying to seize those same resources. A younger "Current of Change" faction rejects both leaderships outright. A movement that built its reputation on unified discipline can no longer agree, internally, on who its enemy even is. Source: en.aletihad.ae/news/mena-wor…

Egypt just used Turkish drones on Sudanese soil. The same soil where Iran arms the Brotherhood's fighters. Same map, different flags. A new Forbes investigation traces how far Turkey's drone exports have spread, Qatar to Morocco, nearly the entire Arab world now flies Bayraktar hardware. But it's the Sudan line that should stop you. Egypt has both acquired Akinci drones from Turkey and entered co-production with them, then deployed that exact hardware into Sudan's war, the same war where Iran is simultaneously arming the SAF's Islamist factions I've written about for months. Three states, three governments, one battlefield. The same Houthis who just shot down a Saudi-operated Akinci over Yemen are now flying Akincis over Libya too, on the opposite side Turkey was bombing six years ago. This isn't foreign policy anymore. It's a supply chain. And Sudan sits at the center of it while the world keeps calling it a "civil war" like it's a local matter. forbes.com/sites/pauliddon/2…

Three weeks after Trump designated Muslim Brotherhood chapters as Foreign Terrorist Organizations, Qatar hosted a 6,000-person international forum in Doha. One week later, the UN's own anti-corruption conference convened in the same city. This is what Qatar's strategy actually looks like in practice, and it's why Florence Bergeaud-Blackler's point cuts deeper than most people register. Al Jazeera has broadcast Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the Brotherhood's most influential theologian, since 1996, the same year Doha began funding the European Council for Fatwa and Research he chaired. He legitimized suicide attacks against civilians from that platform for decades. Qatar simultaneously hosts the largest US airbase in the region. Both things are true at once, and neither cancels the other out. That's the design. Twenty-two of Al Jazeera's own Egyptian bureau staff resigned in 2013 over exactly this bias. The DOJ separately confirmed AJ+'s US-based staff salaries came directly from Qatar's government, "at the direction and control" of Doha's leadership. Qatar isn't hiding this. A global forum runs three weeks after a formal terror designation aimed at the very network Doha built its regional strategy around, and the world shows up anyway.
Mustafa spent 30 hours locked in a cage before he could stand again. Over the next 17 months, Taliban prison guards beat him with sticks and pipes, and fed him scraps. He's one of 38 documented cases in new research presented directly to the UN. Afghanistan International, a TV station of exiled journalists covering the country, built this research specifically on systemic torture of detainees, "critics" and alleged "rebel collaborators", and presented their findings to the UN special rapporteur on Afghanistan, Richard Bennett. This sits inside a broader, growing evidence base. The UN Security Council itself reported Taliban officials and fighters committing sexual violence against Afghan women, documenting 21 verified cases in 2025 alone, gang rape involving 15 women and six girls, women stripped naked, forced marriages carried out by the very officials who publicly banned the practice in 2021. Bennett has said his office independently verified sexual abuse of boys in Taliban detention too, and that the true scale is "significantly underreported." The Taliban's response is consistent: deny everything, while simultaneously banning journalists from reporting critically on the regime, restrictions the Committee to Protect Journalists says are "dragging Afghanistan back to the Stone Age." This isn't a fringe claim from one outlet. It's the UN Security Council, a UN special rapporteur, and 38 documented survivor testimonies, all converging on the same picture.
'It will end when I die': Mustafa was 14 when he was first raped by a group of men. Now, 80 assaults later, he reveals how dancing boys are being dressed as girls and brutalised by sick Taliban officials - and why it's getting worse trib.al/mTq6NlT

Under Iranian law today, a woman's testimony in court is worth exactly half a man's. That's not tradition, it's statute, written into the legal code by the regime that took power in 1979. Mahsa Amini died in police custody in 2022 for wearing her hijab "improperly," sparking the Woman, Life, Freedom protests. The morality police enforcing that law were dialed back afterward, hardliners have since pushed to reinstate them at full strength. Girls can be legally married at 13, with paternal and judicial consent, younger in practice with additional approval. Temporary marriage, sigheh, remains a legally recognized institution. A woman cannot divorce without her husband's consent. A husband can divorce unilaterally. After divorce, custody defaults away from the mother. Grand Ayatollah Montazeri, once Khomeini's designated successor, resigned in 1988 over the regime's mass execution of political prisoners and later revealed prison guards were ordered to rape virgin female prisoners before execution, a theological workaround to deny them entry to heaven. He said this on the record before his death. This is the same regime the UK's Green Party debated softening sanctions on this autumn. The same network arming Sudan's military and running sleeper cells through the Channel. The legal architecture inside Iran isn't separate from the network operating outside it, it's the same ideology, applied wherever it holds power.
Persecution of girls & women in Iran. My article. Even before birth, a female fetus is worth half as much as a male. Then, repression & brutality follows an Iranian woman all her life. This has been the case since the Islamic revolution of 1979. medium.com/@slkanthan2030/pe…

Germany's conservatives smelled a trap and walked away. The Social Democrats, Greens and hard-left party walked straight into it. The trap: a Berlin election forum hosted by a mosque network whose imam council includes figures Berlin's own intelligence services have flagged for Muslim Brotherhood ties. The venue was under active security monitoring until 2016, only removed after a legal appeal, though judges confirmed that doesn't restrict future scrutiny. The conservative candidate who pulled out explained it plainly: "We will not participate in this forum. The other parties are campaigning alongside Islamists. You don't discuss democracy with Islamists. Like any other extremists, they can't be partners in democratic processes." Here's what makes this genuinely interesting: it wasn't just the right that saw the problem. A Green party MP also declined, saying she watches these invitations carefully because she knows exactly how legalist Islamists use them, for credibility, to be able to point and say "look how well we get along with politics." The hard-left party's response, by contrast: they showed up and called it a welcome dialogue on Berlin's future. Same forum. One left-wing politician read the room. Three parties didn't. ilgiornale.it/news/cronaca-i…

One in five Muslim prisoners in England and Wales is white, four times the rate in the general population. Three separate government reviews point to the same explanation: forced conversion. Government adviser Colin Bloom's 2023 report found prisoners who didn't convert would be denied "protection" from the dominant Muslim gang or face violence, documenting the actual phrase used: "convert or get hurt." Copies of the Quran left on new inmates' beds before they'd said a word. The government's own anti-terror chief, Jonathan Hall KC, found evidence of Islamists operating as "self-styled emirs," controlling prisons through leadership and recruitment, targeting vulnerable or lonely inmates with food, gifts, and eventually implicit or actual violence. He named two case studies directly: Usman Khan, who killed two people at London Bridge in 2019, and Sudesh Amman, both documented forcing other inmates to convert years before their attacks. A third reviewer, Ian Acheson, who led an independent review for the Ministry of Justice, described it plainly: in high-security prisons packed with violent young men searching for meaning and belonging, "Islam in this case has gang characteristics." Shadow Justice Secretary Nick Timothy is now demanding Labour investigate. The Ministry of Justice's response: "We do not tolerate intimidation, gang activity or faith-based coercion of any kind." Three separate reviews, spanning multiple governments, reached the same conclusion. The response, so far, is a statement.

Jasmin al-Sahir remembers her wedding fondly, the white dress, her hair done up, feeling "like a princess." She was 14. She'd met her 21-year-old groom once before. Every year in Austria, roughly 200 minor migrant girls are forced into marriage despite it being illegal, punishable by up to five years in prison. Most happen the same way: a summer trip to the family's country of origin, which is why officials now call it the "summer holiday marriage" pattern. The Austrian government's own estimates are far higher than the annual count suggests, up to 5,000 women currently affected or at risk of forced marriage, alongside roughly 11,000 women in Austria who've already undergone FGM and up to 3,000 girls currently considered at risk. Integration Minister Claudia Bauer: "Summer holidays are the time when the risk for girls is highest." Her ministry issued a brochure for schools listing warning signs, phone monitoring by family members, vague or absent details about a planned trip abroad, and is closing a legal loophole so marriages performed abroad involving anyone under 18 become invalid in Austria too. A UNICEF advisor's blunter framing: globally, roughly 650 million women and girls are affected, 12 million more married as children every single year. "We've fallen off course."
Was sagt uns das? #Frauenrechte, #Islam, #Zwangsehen nzz.ch/international/zwangse…

You cannot build trust with someone whose face you're not allowed to see. Portugal just remembered that. President António José Seguro signed the law this week: "The face must be considered a central element of human identity and communication." Passed by a right-of-centre coalition, opposed by the left, signed anyway. Worth being precise here. The burqa and niqab aren't Quranic requirements, they're cultural impositions from specific regional traditions, not religious obligation. Conflating the two lets a cultural practice claim a protection it was never entitled to. The law also criminalizes coercing anyone to cover their face, an acknowledgment that for many women, this was never a free choice to begin with. Portugal joins France, Belgium, Austria and Denmark. An open society runs on the basic ability to see who you're standing next to.

An estimated 139,000 women living in France today have been subjected to female genital mutilation, nearly all of it done abroad, on children. Le Figaro tells Fatoumata's story: age 9, on holiday with her family in Gambia, woken early by her grandmother for a "walk together." She was taken to a small hut where women waited with babies while others stood by with blades. She was restrained, cut, and lost consciousness. She didn't understand a word being said, she doesn't speak her grandmother's language. France runs no active FGM practice on its own soil, according to officials, the risk is entirely exported: children taken abroad during summer holidays, to countries where the practice continues, then brought home. French law treats this as a crime regardless of where it happens, up to 20 years for mutilating a child under 15 when committed by a parent or guardian. A gynecologist at Marseille's Conception hospital told parliament he now treats five to ten newly mutilated women every single week, a number that's risen sharply over five years, and directly linked it to increased migration flows. The government's own campaign confirms what the numbers show: this crime happens because a child is sent on a plane, trusting the adults responsible for her.
@MontbrialAvocat

42,300. That's how many migrants have landed illegally in Italy since October 2022 via private NGO boats. Nearly two-thirds arrived on German-operated vessels. Sea-Watch, based in Berlin, doesn't hide the reasoning. In 2017 they stated Europeans owe unlimited migration as compensation "for the suffering and misery" they've "caused worldwide." Under maritime law, rescued migrants should go to the nearest port, in this case, Libya. Sea-Watch takes them to Italy instead. Italy's response: Deputy PM Salvini publicly demanding Germany "call back" its own activists. Rome is also refusing to accept asylum seekers who move on to Germany, exactly the mechanism the EU's June asylum reform was supposed to guarantee. Two months after that reform, Italy and Germany are in open conflict over it, because German-flagged NGOs are unilaterally deciding EU migration policy from the water, and Berlin won't stop them.
