This chart informs my macro outlook more than any other chart you could possibly show me.
Pretty simple to understand. Fed hikes rates, then they pause, then they lower rates, and then we enter a recession. 1967 being the only exception.
First cut will likely be September. IMO we rally for 2 months after the first rate cut. Extend it by 1-2 more months if Trump wins the election.
Then we grind down for 6-8 months before everything crashes hard. Right when 95% of Crypto Twitter is telling you that Bitcoin is going to peak and we're going to have the mother of all altseasons.
No matter what happens between now and then, I'm most likely going to be 90%+ out of crypto by the end of 2024 with a slight chance of that window extending to January or February of 2025.
Always willing to reevaluate as we get closer to these key dates, but that's the game plan for now.
