A couple months ago my LGBT testing clinic did a “Meth Anonymous” group and i stumbled upon it abt 30 minutes before it started while picking up my PrEP prescription. While waiting on my script i sat and spoke to the members that were there and their stories were both fascinating and sad. Apparently so many gay men get tricked into using it during sex and get hooked on it. I just think thats such a sad case like wow… this shit is like really pummeling our community.

Exactly! Physical attraction might spark someone’s interest, but genuine connection goes much deeper. I want someone who’s interested in my mind, my values, and who I am beyond what they see. Attraction is easy, but intentionality and consistency tell the real story.

Baddies culture has really warped people’s minds and it’s honestly disgusting to continue witnessing. This current video that’s circulating is just one of many examples of that. It’s one of the reasons I’ve been a hater of that show from day one.

There are some parts of having ADHD that I laugh at myself for: the forgetting why I walked into a room, the starting task A and then moving on to task B, C, D, and M-Z before finishing. And then there’s parts that are really destabilizing: Executive dysfunction and decision paralysis. These things can really have an impact on quality of life which is why it’s so important for me to gain control over them. I wish I had been aware of this sooner so I could have stopped beating myself up so much and started taking corrective steps. Better late than never though. Anyway, happy #ADHDAwarenessMonth
