It’s not the love, it’s the familiarity.
People don’t necessarily get tired of being loved. They get too comfortable having access to you. And once your attention becomes guaranteed and your affection predictable, they stop making an effort because they assume you’ll always be there. They start taking for granted what they once had to earn.
This is why you must never let disrespect or bad behaviour slide. You can love someone deeply without allowing them to get away with just anything.

You can never fully trust someone whose character hasn't been tested under pressure. Anyone can claim to have integrity, loyalty, or self-control, but words mean little without evidence.
Nothing could ever possibly compel me to even consider committing to the mere notion of loving/trusting. Humans are fickle; they change like seasons. So if you plan for the sun & bring out the lotion, it’ll inevitably rain, so expecting the change means you aren’t caught offguard
