I made so much money trading in the past year that in these past two months I’ve gotten completely complacent and haven’t cared to learn or execute properly at all. Just lazy, logging on every 6 days or so losing hundreds of dollars at a time. Legit spinning slots.
But in a way the fact I couldn’t care any less feels like a big step forward compared to where I was while giving the game my undivided attention.
I think over time I’ve realized so many people in crypto lead unfulfilling lives and spend way too much time attached to the screen. Through profitable days weeks and months I was still losing my shit; only made worse by the realization I would have rather spent that time with my wife and kids.
Seemed nobody really understood or honored that, but that’s on me, although they do say watch the company you keep. Whatever the case.
Those in groups with me can attest I’ve been distant for months now only loosely checking in here and there. But I need to tighten up.
I’ll still be mainly posting about my everyday interests, mostly my Knicks. But I’ll probably return to using this platform as my trading journal again. Maybe posting setups here and there.
Pray for me! I’m far from where I need to be. Gotta lock back in.
At some point you’ll realize all this talk is for nothing and you’re going to war for a group of guys that continue to fold despite your unwavering commitment to the bit.
I hope for your sake the next iteration of the Pistons can back up the talk. For now, remain seated.
Knicks fans repeated all season that the regular season doesn't matter every time the #Pistons stomped em last season. Now all of a sudden they have so much to say about tonights game...lol
Not worried about the Knicks but genuinely don’t expect them to perform too well for the foreseeable future.
Feel they’ve become complacent and probably don’t feel the need to perform at a playoff level, meanwhile every team in the league is trying to send a message.
Eventually this might lead to them trying to turn it up a notch, and should they fail to secure results, some doubt might seep in.
They’re the Champions. They have a cushion. But in a highly competitive league, while you have a target on your back, you can’t afford to take too many of these games lightly.
Last year I didn’t care much for the regular season, just needed them to get to the playoffs. I knew they had the hunger and the talent to get the job done.
This year I feel similarly, with a caveat.
I can’t pretend the weight of a championship isn’t a heavy one. I can’t pretend that weight being lifted off their shoulders won’t lead to some adverse effects, especially mentally.
One thing I do know for sure though is the moment them lights get bright, they’ll be locked in. And I won’t have a doubt in my mind.
But for better or worse, it’s a long season. And it’s best the team proves it to themselves that they can still clean these dudes up, even if it’s on a random Tuesday in October.
