the @CanalStreetShow was incredible! i’ve been to the show before, but this was my first time having my own art shown there, with my piece “department of nothing” curated by @rocketgirlART up on one of the screens. getting so many compliments on it was really special. 🥹 but truly, the best part was the people. @EfdotStudio, @JenPanepinto, @Jeni_Pepen, @Jancarlo316, @carolinacotos, @alyssastevens_ , @moodSlime_ , @iamjuliarosita , @nygi_xxv, @new_uruk, @Shills_81 , @chazz_gold , @Hitokirivon , @YuZapata3SC, @OmarZRobles , @nuclearsamurai , and SOOO many more!! i looked around a room full of rockstars and thought for a second… damn, these aren’t just my peers. these are my people, my friends. and then at one point a bunch of us were just standing around showing each other pictures of our kids on our phones, and that might have been my favorite part of the whole night. seeing everyone’s families felt even more special than seeing the art on the screens. because underneath all of this online art stuff …THAT is the human part, how we connect and get to know each other. my heart is very full! and my artwork is still available to purchase on @networkeddotart if you loved seeing it there 👀 💟
