the lack of human rights in the lives of others does impact us in America. From pandemics to forming/supporting extremists groups to a global economy to climate (among other consequences), we do not live in a bubble.

As a moral and faith leader, we as the wealthiest country should care about those who live on less than $2 a day or those who lack basic human rights, we should be making and supporting global movements geared toward improving the lives of others, not just those in power.
