Good collaborators think beyond their immediate task. They consider where their actions and words lead: what they cause and who they affect. In our evals, Ampersand is a top model at collaborating with groups of people

No one changes the world alone Introducing Ampersand - the first model built for us. Ampersand is a collaborator trained to help people achieve their individual and collective goals. In multi-month simulations, users collaborating with Ampersand accomplished more than with Fable and other frontier models Available to everyone through our API

Boom!!! Very proud of the work @blader and the team are doing with cfo.ai
update less than a week in, cfo.ai is growing faster than runway has ever grown in any month in our entire history anyway 1. here's your obligatory launch video 2. you can now just sign up and try cfo.ai instantly. for free. no waitlist. 3. tag @arithecfo with your most unhinged financial modeling requests. she's back on duty and feeling spicy. (and so is @gerithecfo but people won't stop asking him about his memecoin 🤷)

Proud to have Chamaeleon in leaving VCs in the Data-Driven VC Landscape and I am humbled to be named in the Top 100 Data Driven VC Thought Leaders.
The 2026 VC Digitization Journey Where does your firm sit on the spectrum? 1. Old-school VC - Manual workflows. Salesforce, email, spreadsheets, gut feel. Most of the global VC market still lives here 2. Productivity VC - Modern off-the-shelf tools. Airtable, Slack, Notion. Real efficiency gains, no real intelligence layer 3. Workflow VC - Lean teams. No dedicated engineers. Investors and operators leverage AI to build their own automations 4. Fullstack VC - Dedicated engineering team. Proprietary data infrastructure and internal tech stack to gain real alpha 5. Quant VC - Fully autonomous investing. AI works without human-in-the-loop. Purist, rare, contested

Quant VC investor @ngpedro at @chamaeleonvc argues that the data shows that targeting 10x returns is actually the best way to find 100x returns in venture. "This is the last disagreement I have with Marc Andreessen that I haven’t won yet. And it’s a bit blasphemous, as it goes against the VC power law. But we have a slightly different view, that you can normalize the curve of returns. The threshold that we classically define, as I mentioned earlier, is 10x after dilution for returns. And this is because we did a bunch of back testing and analysis on it, and the logic that a model that is very good at detecting 10x returns is actually pretty good at finding 100xers as well. So our models basically suggest that they’re both part of the same spectrum. They're in a continium rather than a disruption. And 100x'ers could be found by simply looking at the highest scoring potential 10x'ers."

Truly a pleasure to be on @ThePeelPod with @TurnerNovak. An in-depth pod going truly under the hood at @chamaeleonvc, sharing our unique operating model and insights, including those coming from our own Mantis internal platform. If you are interested in my thoughts on VC, LPs, quant and AI augmentation in Venture capital, among many other topics, this is a great listen.
New @ThePeelPod with Nuno at Chamaeleon Chamaeleon is an early stage VC firm that borrows tools like factor analysis from public-market investors, operating more like a quant hedge fund than a traditional venture firm. We talk through a bunch of data that cuts against the common narrative in venture, including why repeat founders aren't always the safer bet, why sub-$100m funds catch the majority of fund-returning deals, and why 10x might be a better target than 100x. Thank you to @numeral, @FlexSuperApp, @Amplitude_HQ, and @merge_api for supporting this episode.
