Finally had our first failed Nift migration experiment XD
The TanStack website was too coupled to the retained TanStack Start/backend build to deliver the desired build-time + memory wins.
Published it anyway lab.nift.dev
Next: nift init --rewrite
Been quietly filling out lab.nift.dev with more experiments:
• production website migrations
• human+agent vs agent builds
• full-build + memory benchmarks
• scripting/website/shell benchmarks
Docker was a particularly fun fight with Hugo XD
Switchyard - an experimental Git platform designed for humans + coding agents.
Working prototype:
switchyard.cx
docs.switchyard.cx
Git hosting, competing agent attempts, review, semantic conflict handling, Actions, Pages, releases and provenance.

I don’t think I have the chops to turn this into a production platform alone, even with coding agents. But I’d be interested in working with Cloudflare to see what Switchyard could become.
@space_loops theoatmeal.com/comics/mantis… the mantis shrimp is so sick! 🌈🦐
7. Sibling project to Nift called Mantis🦐 (🔗theoatmeal.com/comics/mantis…) for templating with programming languages (bringing additional/modified/restricted syntax, enforced safety while maintaining performance benefits of languages like c/c++ over other compiled langauges)
