Discovering England: Somerset 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Not every county shot needs a big view. This is a quiet bit of woodland in Somerset, with old oaks, soft light coming through the leaves and the bracken just starting to turn. Do you prefer woodland or big open views?

Moon set over a frosty, misty lake. Frozen reeds, mist on the water, and the moon just about to drop behind the hill. Cold mornings like this are worth the early alarm. Frost and mist, or golden autumn colour - which would you rather get up early for?

Across from Luskentyre on Harris, in the Outer Hebrides. Pink clouds over the hills, turquoise water and miles of white sand. It's one of my favourite places to photograph anywhere. Would you believe this is the UK?

Autumn in the Lake District always takes me back to this road into the Langdales. Mist sitting in the valley and the trees turning gold. Of all the seasons in the Lakes, this is the one I miss most when it's gone. Is autumn your favourite season to photograph, or are you more of a winter person?

I took one of my favourite bluebell woodland images today...

I am currently in Surrey and it is an amazing place for woodland photography. So many incredible spots. I just keep stopping my campervan and wandering and finding great trees to photograph. Probably in top 5 counties for woodlands so far.
