Big shout out to this proud grandfather.
His grandson called to say “I love you,” and he didn’t hesitate to speak life into him. He made sure he knew how proud he is of him and that he’s doing a great job.
This is what a present Black grandfather looks like.
Grandfathers who show up, speak life, and pass down strength to the generation after them. Pouring into the next generation. That’s legacy.

My dad passed away 12 years ago, and he would have been 70 yesterday. I got an amazing award yesterday on his birthday, and all I can hear is my dad speaking through this man…. True love from one man to another. RIP pops
