Football is in crisis here. Genuinely think people will fuck it off if City aren’t punished accordingly, and soon. The limbo only makes it worse. I’ve always resisted conspiracy theories about officials, mainly because if that’s what’s going on, what are we all doing here? But why make appointments that feed the conspiracy? Chris Kavanagh, from Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, for this game? When trust is already on the floor, when people are already questioning the integrity of the competition, surely you look at that appointment and think: why invite it?

Jurgen Klopp talking about if he would be ok with Liverpool winning the Premier League by Man City retrospectively being stripped of titles… “You organise the bus, I’ll buy the beer” 😂

Wirtz loan to a BVB or Napoli in January? Can't help but feel it's approaching the time to accept the error and begin planning on how to start making him a sellable asset again for next summer.

I'm so bored of watching Wirtz. Does absolutely nothing of consequence. Only ever opts for simple 6-yard passes and even then he fails to make half of them.

Alonsos football isn’t sustainable in the PL and stylistically would’ve been a bad fit for Liverpool, as much as it seemed like the most obvious appointment at the time, the club made the right decision not to go for him

£60m for a player who’s injured - I just don’t get it. It just smacks of desperation. I’ll be glad when Richard Hughes has left our club. We used to plan, have a strategy, be the smartest in the market. Get Barcola done & look at Rayan further down the line. Spend £ elsewhere.

FSG, Michael Edwards, Richard Hughes, they all have blood on their hands if Liverpool continues with Slot. It's been a long time since we've seen Liverpool this uninspired and non-threatening. Every aspect of the team and the style of play has been a step back from last season.

After the initially flurry, Liverpool have lost the tactical battle and have been pinned in by this terrible Chelsea team under an inexperienced interim coach, at Anfield. The coach is pretty obviously a dead man walking due to his out of possession principles.

I can’t stress it enough. A big money player should play like one. No one should be holding your hands to do anything like you came from the academy. Can’t shoot. Can dribble but he wouldn’t.Can’t influence play. It’s like the ball is too hot for him to handle hence he passes away

The criticism is fair. Wirtz has had a very average season by his own standards and at £100M you cannot hide behind the system as an excuse forever. Yes, the setup hasn't been ideal, but elite players force their way into games regardless.
Wirtz offers absolutely nothing.... NOTHING. Every single time he gets the ball he passes it a few yards to the nearest player and devolves all responsibility.

He has completely rinsed any base fitness these boys had from the Klopp era with some weird Dutch philosophy that just doesn’t work in the modern game
Liverpool outrun in 26 of their 30 Premier League games this season. Just staggering.

There’s a reason why no elite team plays with a true 10, it’s a luxury role at the highest levels of the modern game Can see his closest comp being Bernardo Silva at City but 115M is way too much for someone in that role, you need a n elite goal creation machine for that much £

Reminds me of Shinji Kagawa at Man United, who was clearly a talented individual but just not built for the pace and physicality of Premier League football.
