As always an astonishingly honest and logical response from @AbdulElSayed
What's unbelievably refreshing is that this is on US television.
Finally people like him can begin to dispel the false antisemitism narrative and inform Americans of basic facts.

Oh for God's sake
Brand’s faith seemed genuine to me at the time when I was a guest at his private baptism.
I have attended a few now. Even visiting in prisons with people who have committed terrible crimes. It's part of our calling as men and women of faith, to love and serve anyone. It is the sick that need healing. Judgement is for the courts and God… I wouldn’t want to ever discourage someone’s coming to faith.
It is right that justice has now been served.
I can’t imagine how hard this time has been for the victims, the heroes of the day.

It is disgraceful to see an elected councillor defend a convicted rapist and launch a disgusting attack against rape survivors.
He is not fit for office, these women have put a predator behind bars and deserve our support for their bravery.

A supermajority of Jewish Americans believe that the Israeli government and its lobby AIPAC fuel antisemitism by equating antisemitism with legitimate criticism of Israeli repression of Palestinians. That's 100% correct. I have been saying that for years. teapawt.net/dylanotes/status/21184…

Is this abuse by a barrister acceptable or does it breach professional standards?
If it is unacceptable, what will the profession do about it?
Or if it’s acceptable, why?

This is a day that will be remembered in California’s history and resonate globally for years to come. Responding to calls from Clemency California, Amnesty International, and more than 40 international organizations, Governor Newsom has announced a decisive and powerful step away from the use of the death penalty – the ultimate cruel, inhuman, and degrading punishment.
The death penalty should be abolished, everywhere. Today marks a significant moment for human rights in California and across the country, but it is not the finishing line. The world is watching, and this decision is showing that progress is possible, and the United States, which remains among a small group of 17 countries that continues to carry out executions, can move beyond the death penalty.

ALT The image shows an California Governor Newsom. The text reads: "Gov. Gavin Newsom will commute all of the death sentences in California. 548 people currently sit on the state's death row." The top left corner shows a yellow location pin icon next to the word "California," and the bottom right corner displays the Amnesty International logo.

Is AIPAC Okay?
…candidates like Abdul El-Sayed promptly sailed to midterm victory by directly criticizing AIPAC—and by pushing back on its core policy positions, like unyielding support for Trump’s war of choice in Iran.
