i thought OpenAI would file their S-1 first, but hey… what an absolutely fascinating (and inspiring) read.

You're in the hospitality business, not the paying-off-my-mortgage-without-consequences-or-inconvenience business.

This might sound crazy.
But one of the skills you NEED to learn is how to deal with a more and more illiterate society full of emotionally dysregulated people.
If you keep getting frustrated every day over how "ďumb" everything/everyone seems, the stress of it is going to wreck your mind.

Strategic laziness: waiting on difficult projects because a future AI will be able to one-shot it much before you would have completed the project yourself.
took a while but reliability on AI is rising. Anthropic taking this step now also reflects how much they trust their own tool (despite having incentive to default to auto all the time).
end of an era. and what a sad way to go.
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026.
That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community.
Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward.
We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how:
· Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly.
· Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact.
· Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security.
· The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional.
Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.
with everything that’s happening online, this might be the perfect time to turn off the Internet and touch some grass.

The worst part about being from a third-world country is watching your potential get consumed by problems that should not exist in the first place.
almost every major AI org or company has a personal agent product. except Google.
i read Anthropic has something called Duet, so that counts too. with Grok having @bot, and OpenAI having Dots, the game seems to be shifting to the fundamentals - how sticky is your relationship with the users, how much (or how many) of your products is the average consumer using every minute.
the whole 'which model is smarter/better?' debate will still be on, and ongoing.

I saw someone say they miss when the internet was a library and not a store and I’ll be damned if that’s not the realest thing I’ve seen all year.

I think what is actually needed is for Indian people to actually give a damn about their cities and fellow citizens.
Anybody using the "I pay taxes, I shouldn't have to do anything" excuse should go live in another country. India isn't developed, it's developing, so it needs patriots, not parasites. If this triggers you, it means you're part of the problem.
If you're not happy with the footpath (or a pothole, or anything else which is broken), fix it, or call someone to fix it, and don't give up until it's fixed. Be relentless. Be vocal. Be creative. Make it your mission to get that one thing fixed. Look at what Virendra (@Virendra0698) did by just calling the right people and being respectful (but also persistent). He and Arun Pai (@arunpaiblrwalks) along with the help of GBA and some wonderful volunteers turned an unofficial garbage dump into a pristine, beautiful footpath through sheer force of will.
