- Tortured & Executed because of his speech,on Congolese oppression, that upset the Belgian King
- His own people, brothers led by Mobutu were used to persecute him.
- And all that was left of him was a tooth, kept by Belgian policeman Gerard Soete, given back after 60yrs

The man who parades around with a Zimbabwe-colours scarf is not a patriot.
He is a power-hungry ruler who has bent the constitution to stay in office.
He signed amendments stretching presidential and parliamentary terms from five to seven years, pushing the election from 2028 to 2030, even though the 2013 constitution requires a referendum to extend term limits.
The normalisation of incompetence and corruption in Zimbabwe is embarrassing.
The flag around the neck is aesthetics, a costume of statesmanship, while the state is hollowed out by one man and the people around him.
Gold is the country's biggest export and it leaves with little transparency.
Zimbabwe's gold goes to the UAE, which re-exports it into global markets, and the people who profit from the best land, mines and farms are the first family and their allies. Zimbabweans are told to take it on trust.
And almost nobody fights it. Opposition politicians, activists and public figures have failed to stop it.
Mining exports hit US$6.21bn in the first half of 2026, yet usable reserves cover only about 1.7 months of imports.
Set that against health: only 10.5% of the budget, below the 15% Abuja target, and poverty at 39.8%. Then look at the roads, the public service and basic service delivery.
I hate identity politics. It is lazy politics. Colonial regimes were fought over less, yet they could account for every cent. Mines were run by miners and mining companies, tenders went to the best contractors, not political families.
Why is Africa still fighting the charge of shallow politics? Why is Zimbabwe ignoring the milking of the nation by a few men?
In a well governed Zimbabwe, people like Ralph Mupita wouldn't just be turning around companies by the billions, they would be driving economic growth by investing in other economies!
But Emmerson would rather boast about Kudakwashe Tagwirei & Chivayo who have ZERO IMPACT TO ZIM
Ralph Mupita runs MTN, Africa's biggest mobile phone company. In 2024, MTN lost R10.9 billion. One year later, it made R27.4 billion profit. For that turnaround, Mupita earned R99.3 million ($5.5 million), a 53% pay rise.

Hi Crime Watch. I am writing this with deep pain. This young man, Tinashe Mlizane, died in a horrible way yesterday because there are no safety measures and proper PPE that he was wearing when he was simply doing his job. He was crushed by an unguided conveyor belt. There is no safety measures on the belt and they were forced by the Chinese to clean a rolling conveyor belt with a shovel so the shovel got stuck in the belt and hooked him in. The emergency brake for the belt was broken so by the time they pulled it trying to stop it the guy had already passed on.
The company name is Nald Line in Mberengwa or Diamond Cement in Kwekwe or Livetouch. All these are the company names and the company is not registered yet.
My concern is there is about 300 men and 8 women and the only safety they brought us were condoms. I don’t know to use where? Workers are forced to work without safety belts and helmets and if you refuse to work there you are fired. I don’t know if its fair below are the pictures of the deceased. The next of kin have been informed. The photos need viewer discretion.

🔸What do you mean “indulge with telco players?” “We have to import data cause we are a landlocked country”? Huh?
What did you mean to say, Honourable Minister @TateMavetera?

Responding to a question from President of the Senate Hon. Mabel Chinomona during the ICT session, Hon. Tatenda Mavetera said Zimbabwe's high data costs are largely driven by energy and connectivity expenses, highlighting Government measures to reduce sector fees and support interventions aimed at lowering data costs.
The USA is such a horribly policed country where being black makes you an eternal suspect and in eternal danger from the police
In July 2024 a Black mother of two called 911 because she thought a prowler was outside her Illinois home. Two deputies came inside, joked with her about a pot of “hot steaming water” on her stove, and seconds later one of them drew his gun and told her:
“I swear to God I’ll shoot you right in your face.” Deputy Sean Grayson then shot Sonya Massey, 36, in the face in her own kitchen. When his partner said he’d go get the medical kit, Grayson told him she was done and called it “a head shot.”
She had picked up the pot, set it down and ducked behind the counter, and then appeared to lift it again. At trial Grayson said he feared she would scald him. He was charged with first-degree murder, but in October 2025 the jury convicted him of second-degree, which Illinois allows when a defendant honestly, even if unreasonably, believed he was in danger.
In the video below the deputies stand in her kitchen chatting about the pot on the stove, and you can hear how fast it turns.
In January 2026 he got the maximum, 20 years. In court he said he “froze” and was sorry. Her 16-year-old daughter Summer told the judge, “Twenty years is not enough.” With credit for good behavior he could be out in about eight and a half years, and this summer the parole board turned down his request for early release over his cancer.
Was second-degree murder the right verdict for what’s on that camera?

If "economic activities were difficult to measure", how did you reach this conclusion? How do you come to 100billion? What are you using to even guess it?

When are you going to complete the road to Maphisa through the Matopos?
A perfectly good road has been ruined because work stopped half way through once the Independence Day Celebration at Maphisa ended in April.
Since then the road has been allowed to deteriorate and it is in far worse condition now than before work began on it.
🚧 Chivhu-Gutu road rehab update
🚜 Road marking works are now underway on the Chivhu-Gutu Road Rehabilitation Project, bringing the project closer to completion.
The benefits go beyond the road itself:
✅ Better access to markets for farmers and traders.
✅ Easier movement of goods for businesses along the route.
✅ More opportunities for communities to participate in economic activities.
Government's investment in road infrastructure continues to bring development closer to the people and support local economies.
📍 Better roads, better business opportunities!

I got my asylum because there were live threats against my life and international law allows me to claim asylum wherever I feel safe in the world.

I have heard different versions about what happened to Marry…
But for me one of the most damning facts is that VP Chiwenga made a complaint against his then wife thru the courts accusing her of attempted murder . Then after that he refused to show up to court which was necessary for the proceedings to continue … he instead chose to hold her at ransom thru the courts causing the case to drag for 7 whole years … Marry lost limb and life in that 7 years …
He didn’t even need to drop the charges he just needed to show up to his own court case.
How cruel can one be !!!
