Why do I like it? It gives me a clear idea of what Nikita actually worked on and how they approach problems. The Challenge and Solution model works well with the Examples and Takeaways.
Not everyone is going to have enough experience, or breadth on a project, to do a writeup like this...but you can look at any section of it and get a feel for what it would be like to work with Nikita. It also doesn't take much imagination to picture him working on a game without giant robots, the approaches are sound regardless of genre.
