Most college athletes don’t have agents reviewing their #NIL contracts. This is exactly why representation matters. It’s not just about negotiating money. It’s about protecting athletes from predatory terms like liquidated damages clauses that penalize them for transferring.

The SCORE Act is nowhere close to the solution college sports needs. It’s simply another layer designed to preserve NCAA power with limited, undeserved antitrust protection. The NCAA is the problem — an outdated structure trying to govern a modern industry. You don’t fix a systemically broken system by adding more of the same. You fix it by breaking it apart.

Congressman Roy says college football “is not supposed to be a market.” Really?
Respectfully, it has been a multibillion-dollar commercial enterprise for decades. Media rights, tickets, merchandise, sponsorships, major donations. The market isn’t new. Stop living in fantasyland.
Roy: The SEC, BIG 10, ACC… they’re pushing this hard.
What we just saw unfold with Lane Kiffin is an absolute abomination. People say: Well, this is the market working.
This is not supposed to be a market… If we’re going to intervene, maybe we should fully intervene. Maybe we should fix the damn mess so we don’t have 16 teams in the SEC and 17 teams in the ACC and 19 teams in the BIG 10 and Stanford in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Let’s call this what it really is…
NEW: One-time transfer portal window:
The NCAA Committee on Legislative Relief announced it will issue a waiver to allow athletes that Division I programs place on the “Designated Student-Athlete” list to enter the transfer portal between July 7-Aug. 5.

The reality of a CBA in college football would underscore the extreme inflation behind most reported contract figures…
As college sports enters its most transformative era, many power league ADs are urging leaders to explore collective bargaining.
They are attending CBA presentations & one SEC AD reveals his “athlete-employee” plan.
“I’m not biting my tongue anymore.”
