Now is the time to leave this platform as @elonmusk shows he's perfectly willing to stoke the flames of racism and the violence which flows from it for profit. An enabler. I

The Green Party have as many seats as Reform so let's hope they get the same coverage as Farage going forward.

With the Greens now having the same number of seats as Reform, the UK media should provide them the same platform and level of coverage as Farage’s ilk. Will it happen though? #GE24

Full disclosure: I got my facts wrong in this clip when I say business fraud is ten times higher than benefit fraud. It’s actually 30 times higher!
Politicians need to stop pretending benefit fraud is the worst strain on public finances. Business fraud is ten times worse. @AIannucci

If only my parents had cancelled Sky TV - they too could have afforded the £3030 per month Winchester College fees ...
EXCL: In his D Day interview - at a time of CCHQ’s choosing - Rishi Sunak sits down to discuss the personal & political. When asked how he can relate to voters - what he’s ever gone without - he says as a child he had to forgo “Sky TV”. 7pm @ITVTonight.

Rishi Sunak’s idea of sacrifice: not having Sky TV. One of the pillars of inequality is the privileged refusing to understand how privileged they are. This self-pity of the rich underpins the Conservative project

These costings of £2,000 in tax are nonsense. When political advisers ask civil servants for selective info it doesn’t yield ‘independent analysis’. As a former senior Treasury official said, what you get is “garbage in, garbage out”. We need better debate on tax and spending.
EXCLUSIVE The chief Treasury civil servant wrote to Labour two days ago saying that the £38 billion/£2,000 tax attack “should not be presented as having been produced by the civil service” He said he had reminded ministers of this

“Civil Servants were not involved in the production or presentation” of what Tories claimed was a Treasury assessment of Labour plans. So the Tory claim is a lie. Hard to see what other word to use
