The #Fed intentionally caused high #inflation that started in 2021. Democrats worsened inflation & increased crime. Always vote conservative! 🇺🇸

Is there anything not going up in price?
We should hike rates today but they won’t.
U.S. steel prices just hit their highest level in more than four years, per Bloomberg.
Benchmark hot-rolled coil has jumped 52% over the past year to $1,255 a ton, a level last seen in May 2022.
The reason: Trump’s tariffs are squeezing foreign supply. Steel imports fell 14% in the first nine months of 2026.

Hey @ewarren, you backed adding four Supreme Court seats with Biden in the White House. Four extra appointments for your own party’s president. You also wanted to abolish the filibuster when it blocked your agenda.
You called that protecting democracy.
You’re awfully comfortable rewriting the rules when Democrats stand to benefit. Your own Senate website still has the receipts.

Long one:
I was watching a history show tonight about the American Revolution.
After we beat Britain and gained our independence we had massive war debts and wrote tons of IOU’s to other countries to fund it all.
After the war the US plunged into a huge Depression.
Our currency tanked as a result. It was nearly worthless. Inflation soared. They said at the peak a horse cost $150,000 US Dollars.
Many merchants stopped taking US dollars and would only accept gold.
This isn’t a goldbug conspiracy. Maybe it’s crypto this time or something else.
Regardless, you can’t help but wonder if we are heading back to days like these.
You look around today see that a decent house in a nice city costs $1 million dollars. A drink at a restaurant can cost you $30.
Order Door Dash and a cheeseburger and fries is $40.
None of this is affordable for 90% of Americans. I used to think a great inflation couldn’t happen here. We were too sophisticated I thought and had learned from the past.
Now I’m just not so sure anymore.
In fact, I’d argue that when you look around maybe the days of the post Revolution might not be far away as our debt grows to $40 trillion.
But “We’re the world’s global reserve currency” they say. Well then start acting like it and stop running the USA like a Ponzi scheme.
I seriously worry that it’s too late and we can’t stop heading down this inflationary path.
Another part of me looks around at our insane cost of living and wonder if we aren’t already kinda there.

Yeah, the tariffs and prolonged war aren't helping the mid-terms.

There will be enough to cry about if the Dems win the House.

If they were to raise (which they won’t) Trump would have a literal meltdown.

Wow this is wild. Only 9% of daily stock trading volume is retail investors down from 15% last year.
You’re basically trading against algos/bots that are much faster and are becoming even more effective as they incorporate AI into their systems.

That assumes he even has one. 😆
Good
THE CEASEFIRE HAS COMMENCED
The ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia took effect at 4:00am Moscow time on October 27, 2026.
Timing was accelerated two days ahead of schedule to protect the safety of civilians and to facilitate the delivery of critical humanitarian aid. The ceasefire’s geographic area has expanded beyond Oleshky, within the Kherson Region, to provide safe passage for the humanitarian convoys.
General Valery Gerasimov, Joint Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces has confirmed.

Same with contractors that “happen to be in the area” randomly texting to see if I need painting or roofing work done.

Dear politicians. If I get a text from you I won’t be voting for you.

I kid you not.
United States Senator @SenAlexPadilla just posted “INVESTIGATE ELON MUSK.”
That’s it. No specific allegation. No evidence. Not even an explanation of what he wants investigated.
Apparently, identifying a political enemy is sufficient grounds to demand an investigation.
Maybe I should post “INVESTIGATE SENATOR ALEX PADILLA” with no explanation and see how he likes it.
Senator, investigate Musk for WHAT?
