Dig down deep and say, “I’m not moved by what’s not changing. I’m not discouraged because it’s taking too long. I’m not worried because nothing is improving. I know God is a faithful God. I’ve seen Him do it in the past; I know He’ll do it again in the future.”

A person may speak the language of Christianity, defend sound doctrine, attend church faithfully, and still reveal an unchanged heart by a settled absence of love. The gospel does not merely give us new information. It gives us new life, and that new life produces love for God and for His people. “The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (1 John 4:8). This does not mean a true believer loves perfectly. Christians can become cold, selfish, bitter, and even cruel, and they must repent. But where there is no grief over lovelessness, no desire to forgive, no mercy toward the weak, and no concern for the brethren, there is serious reason to question whether the heart has ever been changed. “We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren” (1 John 3:14). Love does not earn salvation. It is one of the clearest fruits that salvation has taken place. The same grace that forgives our guilt also begins to break our pride, soften our hardness, and teach us to love others because Christ first loved us. “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). Biblical love is not sentimental approval of everything people do. It tells the truth, confronts sin, bears burdens, forgives offences, and seeks another person’s eternal good. Christ did not love us with empty words. He gave Himself for us while we were still His enemies. A loveless Christianity is a contradiction. Where Christ truly saves, He does not leave the heart untouched. Doctrine without love becomes noise, service without love becomes vanity, and profession without love may expose a soul that has never truly known God.

The sooner we accept that death will separate us from everything we possess in this life, the sooner we will stop living as though this world were permanent. Our money, home, reputation, achievements, and possessions will all remain behind. Even the spouse we deeply love and the children we have carried in our hearts cannot travel with us beyond the grave. “For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either” (1 Timothy 6:7). This truth is not meant to make us careless about earthly relationships. It should make us cherish them rightly. Love your spouse faithfully. Raise your children with tenderness and truth. Provide for your family and enjoy the gifts God has given. But do not turn temporary gifts into eternal gods. Death exposes how foolishly we cling to things we were only permitted to hold for a little while. The grave does not recognise bank balances, titles, property deeds, influence, or applause. It strips every person down to the condition of his soul before God. “So teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12). Contentment does not come merely from knowing that we will lose everything. It comes from knowing that Christ cannot be lost. The believer may leave possessions, family, health, and the body itself behind, but he does not leave the Lord who redeemed him. “Whom have I in heaven but You? And besides You, I desire nothing on earth” (Psalm 73:25). Hold earthly blessings with gratitude, but hold them with open hands. Your spouse is a gift. Your children are entrusted to you. Your possessions are tools. Your life itself is temporary stewardship. Only Christ is the lasting portion of the soul. The sooner we understand that everything else must eventually be released, the freer we become to enjoy God’s gifts without worshipping them and to live prepared for the day when He calls us home.

Instead of complaining, “God, why won’t You answer my prayers? Nothing’s improving in my life.” Have a new perspective: “Lord, thank You for sustaining me. Thank You for giving me the grace, the strength, the favor to keep moving forward.”

Temptation must be confronted at the door, not entertained in the room. Sin rarely begins with the outward act. It enters through a thought, an image, a desire, or a quiet excuse. The longer we reason with it, the stronger it becomes. We must not ask how close we can stand without falling. We must turn immediately to Christ and remember what our sin required of Him. “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness” (1 Peter 2:24). Looking to the cross is not merely imagining the suffering of Jesus. It is believing what His death accomplished. Our old master was judged there. Sin still tempts the believer, but it no longer owns him or has the right to command him. “Our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin” (Romans 6:6). When temptation whispers that sin will satisfy us, the cross exposes the lie. That pleasure demanded blood. That secret desire brought the Son of God beneath judgment. We cannot claim to love the Saviour while peacefully feeding the very evil for which He died. “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts” (Romans 13:14). Do not negotiate with temptation. Do not study it, test your strength against it, or keep it nearby while praying for victory. Look to Christ, reject the lie, flee the occasion, and bring the thought into obedience before it becomes an act. The cross does not merely forgive the sin we committed yesterday. It teaches us to hate the sin approaching us today.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is not some vague mystical experience where the mind is emptied and emotions take over. To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to live under the rule, influence, power, and presence of Christ. The Holy Spirit does not draw attention away from Jesus. He glorifies Christ, makes His Word precious, exposes sin, strengthens obedience, and shapes the life of the believer around the Lordship of Jesus. “He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you” (John 16:14). This is why Paul connects being filled with the Holy Spirit to worship, gratitude, submission, holiness, and a life ordered before God. It is not spiritual chaos. It is Christ centered obedience flowing from a heart governed by God. “Be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18). A person filled with the Holy Spirit will not become less biblical, less humble, less self controlled, or less obedient. The Holy Spirit produces the likeness of Christ, not spiritual performance for attention. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness” (Galatians 5:22). The fullness of the Holy Spirit is not measured by noise, emotion, or claims of power. It is seen when Christ becomes precious, sin becomes hateful, Scripture becomes living, worship becomes sincere, and obedience becomes the desire of the heart. To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to have the life increasingly dominated by the presence, truth, and glory of Christ.

Never allow society to define your usefulness by your age. Heaven measures significance differently. God is not looking for the youngest, the strongest, or the most celebrated; He is looking for those who remain available, faithful, and willing. Some of the greatest blessings you will ever release into the world will not come from your strength but from the wisdom forged through years of walking with God. Do not spend your days looking backward with regret or forward with fear. What matters most is what you do with the season you are in right now. Every season carries a unique assignment. Youth may bring energy, but maturity brings perspective. Experience teaches lessons that success alone cannot teach. The battles you survived, the tears you shed, and the victories God brought you through have equipped you to become a source of strength and guidance for others. The enemy would like you to believe that your best days are behind you, but God often saves some of His greatest works for later seasons. Your purpose does not retire. Your calling does not expire. As long as God gives you breath, there is still someone to encourage, someone to teach, someone to love, and someone to point toward Christ. Do not underestimate the power of a kind word, a faithful prayer, a wise counsel, or a life that consistently honors God. What may seem ordinary to you could be the very thing God uses to transform another person's destiny. The world does not simply need more talent; it needs seasoned faith, enduring character, and genuine love. Live each day knowing that you are not here by accident. You are a carrier of wisdom, a steward of experience, and a vessel of God's grace. Walk confidently into every new day, for the God who preserved you has also prepared a purpose for you. Your greatest contribution may not be what you achieve for yourself, but what you impart to others. Leave behind a legacy of faith, integrity, compassion, and courage that will continue speaking long after your voice is silent. #PstKimeamihia

One of the strongest truths we can place before those who oppose the faith is not merely an argument, but true hope. Many objections are not only intellectual. Beneath the questions there is often fear, guilt, disappointment, bitterness, confusion, or the painful weight of a life that has no final answer. A Christian must be ready to answer, but our answer must lead beyond debate to Christ Himself. “Always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you” (1 Peter 3:15). The hope we offer is not shallow optimism. It is not positive thinking. It is not the empty comfort that says everything will somehow become better. Our hope is a crucified and risen Saviour who has conquered sin, death, judgment, and the grave. “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). This is what the world cannot produce. It can offer distraction, pleasure, success, therapy, politics, religion, and philosophy, but it cannot give a guilty sinner peace with God. It cannot cleanse the conscience. It cannot raise the dead. It cannot promise eternal life. “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). So when we answer objectors, let us not merely try to silence them. Let us point them to the only hope that will still stand when every argument ends, every excuse falls, and every soul must face God. Our greatest answer is not our intelligence. Our greatest answer is Christ.

Whether the world runs into atheism or hides behind religion, the calling of the people of God does not change. We are not here to measure the mood of the age. We are here to magnify the Lord. “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together” (Psalm 34:3). The unbelieving world denies Him openly. The religious world often uses His name while refusing His rule. One rejects God with its mouth. The other can dishonour Him with its heart. But the church must not be carried away by either side. Our duty is not to make God great, because He is already infinitely great. Our duty is to declare His greatness, honour His name, bow before His Word, and live in such a way that His glory is seen above our comfort, reputation, fear, and desires. “For great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods” (Psalm 96:4). This is also our joy. We were not made to spend our lives admiring ourselves, pleasing the crowd, or trembling before a dying world. We were made to behold God, worship God, proclaim God, and find our deepest gladness in Him. “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen” (Romans 11:36). So whether the age mocks God or dresses rebellion in religious clothing, let us not lose our way. Let the world change its gods as often as it changes its opinions. We belong to the Lord. Our task is clear. Our joy is settled. Magnify the Lord.

Never allow the voices of accusation, failure, or human opinion to become louder than the voice of God over your life. One of the greatest battles in life is not the battle against people, but the battle against condemnation, discouragement, and the lies that try to make you feel unworthy of God’s love and purpose. Always remember that when God justifies a man, no power on earth or in hell can successfully condemn him. Do not waste your strength trying to prove yourself to everyone. Some people will misunderstand you no matter how pure your intentions are. Some will judge you based on your past while God is already speaking about your future. Stay focused. Your assignment is not to seek validation from men, but to remain faithful to God. What God has spoken concerning your destiny is greater than every accusation standing against you. Learn to stand in grace, not pride. Trust God enough to obey Him even when your journey is misunderstood. There will be seasons when your faith is tested, your character stretched, and your patience refined, but do not give up. God uses pressure to build maturity, humility, wisdom, and spiritual strength within you. The same trials meant to discourage you will become the testimony that reveals God’s glory through your life. Do not carry guilt that Christ has already paid for. Repent sincerely when you fall, rise again in faith, and continue walking with God. The enemy wants you trapped in shame so you will stop growing, stop praying, and stop believing, but God calls you forward, not backward. Your mistakes are not greater than God’s mercy, and your weakness is not stronger than His grace. Keep your heart pure, your spirit prayerful, and your eyes fixed on God. The Lord who justified you will sustain you, strengthen you, and complete the good work He started in your life. Your destiny is too precious to be destroyed by fear, bitterness, or condemnation. Walk boldly in faith knowing that God is with you, for you, and working all things together for your good. #PstKimeamihia

The enemy wants you to sit in regret, replaying failures until you lose confidence in who God created you to be. But God does not consult your past to determine your future. His mercy rewrites broken stories, restores wasted years, and gives strength to rise again. Do not waste your energy condemning yourself over what God is willing to forgive. Every great person in Scripture had moments of weakness, failure, and imperfection, yet God still used them powerfully because they surrendered their lives back to Him. Your fall is not your finish. Your scars can become evidence of God’s healing power and transforming grace. Learn from your mistakes, but never live chained to them. Keep moving forward with humility, wisdom, and faith. Sometimes the greatest testimony is not that you never failed, but that God lifted you after you failed. Refuse to let shame silence your purpose. There is still greatness within you, still purpose ahead of you, and still another chance waiting for you. God’s mercy is proof that your story is not over. Rise again, believe again, pray again, and trust again. The same God who carried you before will carry you into a greater season of victory, restoration, peace, and fulfillment. #PstKimeamihia

Never treat opportunities as accidents. What looks ordinary to others may be the doorway God designed to change your life. Many destinies are not destroyed by the devil, they are buried under procrastination, excuses, and spiritual laziness. The tragedy is not that people fail; it is that many never truly try. Understand this: opportunity is God’s invitation, but responsibility is your response. God will open doors, but He will not walk through them for you. He will give you ideas, but He will not build the vision without your discipline. He will plant greatness in you, but He will not force you to grow. Stop waiting to “feel ready.” Readiness is not a feeling, it is a decision. David did not wait until he looked like a warrior before facing Goliath; he moved with what he had, trusting the God who had trained him in secret (1 Samuel 17:37). Some of your greatest breakthroughs will come when you step out while still trembling. Stop despising small beginnings. The seed may look insignificant, but it carries a forest inside it. Your consistent prayers, quiet obedience, daily learning, and hidden sacrifices are not wasted. Heaven records what people overlook. “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin” (Zechariah 4:10). Invest opportunities with eternity in mind. Not every open door is your assignment. Ask God for discernment, because sometimes the enemy offers distractions that look like progress. Choose what builds your calling, strengthens your spirit, and honors Christ. Wake up each day with this mindset: “Lord, let me not just exist today, let me invest today.” Because one opportunity, fully obeyed, can shift generations. #PstKimeamihia

Paul wrote much of the New Testament from a prison cell. The enemy thought he was shutting Paul up, but God knows how to take what was meant for harm and use it to your advantage. In that prison cell, Paul wrote, “Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice.” He wrote, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy.”

Strength is not always the absence of fear; it is the decision to move forward even when fear is present. The greatest confidence of a believer is not in what they can handle, but in Who is walking with them. When life feels overwhelming, remember: you are not alone. The same God who called you is the same God who will sustain you. Your future may be unknown to you, but it is not unknown to God. Stand up, move forward, and refuse discouragement, because God’s presence is your victory. #PstKimeamihia

I often think about Job when life feels unfair or confusing. Job lost almost everything his comfort, stability, the life he knew and those around him struggled to understand his pain. There were seasons where it felt impossible to see why God allowed such suffering. Yet what’s powerful about his story is that through heartbreak, loss, and disappointment, he kept his faith in God. Eventually, God restored him. That’s why Job 42:10 is so meaningful: “And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Twice as much not because the pain never happened or the process was easy, but because God was still working in his hardest seasons. Many people need this reminder right now: Just because life feels heavy doesn’t mean God has forgotten you. Just because things fell apart doesn’t mean your story is over. The process may hurt before restoration comes, but God is still able to restore, rebuild, and bless in ways bigger than what was lost. If you’re in a difficult season, don’t lose faith. Keep trusting God through the process, even when you don’t fully understand it yet.

Are you trying to get out of something that God is going to take you through? Are you fighting the process, wondering why it happened? Everything will change if you’ll start inviting God in. He promised He’ll be with you; maybe He’s just waiting for your invitation.
