just to be crystal clear, there is no defense for this and anyone still supporting him is not welcome in any space of mine. this is not the time to discuss his works, this is the time to listen to the victims and support them. they deserve justice, neil gaiman deserves to rot
More women have came forward with sexual assault and abuse allegations against Neil Gaiman.
(TW: Descriptions of sexual assault and abuse below and in the linked article)
One woman, who was the babysitter for Gaiman’s son, was allegedly raped multiple times by him. Gaiman would address her as “slave” and himself as “master” so much that Gaiman’s son even began to address her as “slave.” Gaiman also allegedly had sex with her while speaking to his son at the same time while he played on his iPad
Another woman, who was living with her 3 daughters in a house owned by Gaiman, was allegedly worried that he’d kick her out if she didn’t continue to have sexual encounters with him.

this is now his legacy. do not grieve his characters right now, there are real women who have been abused and who need every single voice to be loudly on their side. channel all your anger and sadness into making sure they're heard

Sorry for tweeting so much, but Twitter throttles out-bound links, so I'm trying this again.
SoCal animal shelters are overwhelmed with people dropping off injured animals they can't take with them as they flee. Many are in need of volunteers, money, and foster homes 🧵
