Exactly, because it’s not about what you “owe” your spouse. Having sex regularly is part of a healthy relationship, and it shouldn’t be something you look at as a chore.
This isn’t a job you have to show up to just to make a living. You willingly chose to marry this person. You’re supposed to love them, make them happy, care for them, and yes, please them sexually too.
And if you refuse to have sex with your spouse, would you be okay with them getting that satisfaction from someone else? If not, why act like their sexual needs don’t matter?
If making love to your own spouse feels like an obligation, maybe the problem isn’t sex. Maybe it’s your marriage.

Somalis in the West is a total disaster. They are the worst of all the immigrant groups. They must all go back. Yes it sucks for them to live in Somalia, but we can't save all 20 million people by having them immigrate anyway.
A 29-year-old woman was killed this week by a homeless Somalian in the Netherlands. She texted her family: 'Help me. Now. He is killing me', so the family contacted the police. The police decided that it wasn't urgent and waited 24 hours to investigate. She was found in a suitcase over ten days later and it took 2 weeks to arrest the man she was last seen with, of whom the police refused to release footage.
Meanwhile, the Dutch Public Prosecution Service is using police manpower to investigate and prosecute a gossip-vlogger for calling women fat, 'because verbal aggression contributes to a culture of violence against women'. My boyfriend is being prosecuted for privately e-mailing nude portraits to a bimbo-artist who poses nude publicly for her art regularly.
Obviously, something has gone completely wrong. What are the police for? How can you really stop violence against women? How should you really divide your energy and resources to protect people's lives?
