With Max and Lando being knocked out of contention yesterday that means Lewis, for now, reclaims the stat of being the driver with the longest active streak of races in title contention (shared with the Merc drivers). Its the first time since Monza 2022 that he holds that stat.

This is really silly because not only is this a common occurrence with dominant cars but Max and Charles were fighting for position and lost that time themselves. Once ahead Max barely lost any time to Kimi for the entire rest of the stint.

Possibly Lewis worst weekend this year so a P4 is really fine. The fight for championship positions stays alive. Without the VSC its a podium even. Champions drive from Kimi, really stellar. Maybe if its so bad for Max and not for Lewis its an issue with the Red Bull and they just need to "design their car properly" in the words of Max himself. Why do you need Lewis to lie about the bumps if he really isn't bothered by them? In 2022 when you could see his spine break apart in real time he was clowned and told to stop the theatrics, but now because poor old Max can't handle a few bumps, the exact same bumps everyone else is driving over too, the world has to stop and nobody is allowed to disagree with him. The hypocrisy is absolutely ridiculous. These few bumps are not the same as 2022.
