“as he has stolen so many other things from me” 👁️👄👁️
Paul Bettany on Robert Downey Jr returning to the MCU as Doctor Doom:
“I [was the longest-running person in the MCU] for a moment ... He stole my legacy, as he has stolen so many other things from me. Maybe I still outlast him. We’ll see.”

One of the clearest and dearest foreshadowings in the Bible.
🔥
You know what wrecked me when I was newly Christian?
Genesis 22. For years as a Muslim, I was told the story was about Ishmael.
Then I actually read it. I think the bigger topic isn't Isaac or Ishmael.
It's this: Why would God ask Abraham to sacrifice his son in the first place? What kind of God does that?
The answer hit me like a freight train, because it shattered my Muslim worldview. God wasn't being cruel, He was painting a picture.
Abraham never goes through with sacrificaing Isaac. God stops him, then God provides a ram in his place. That action is not just a test or an isolated story: That's prophetic. It's a blueprint.
The blueprint goes: A father. A son. A sacrifice. A substitute.
You see where I am going with this.
Genesis 22 is actually the heartbeat of the Gospel. God was foreshadowing the day when He Himself would provide the sacrifice. Not for one man. Not only for one family.
But for the whole world. Of course, salvation wasn't earned by Abraham's performance. It came through God's provision.
You can recieve this substitute and gift. Here's what made me stop and think: The Quran retells the story of Genesis 22, but removes the name of the son. Why?
Because once you start following the thread through Genesis, the prophets, and the covenant promises, you eventually have to wrestle with the Lamb that comes later.
You have to wrestle with Jesus. The perfect sacrifice that every previous sacrifice pointed toward.
And that's when I realized: The story was never ultimately about Abraham. It was always about what God was going to do for us.
And there's nothing we can do to earn His approval! We can only receive the sacrifice He already provided.

When is the NFL going to realize that the #SuperBowl Halftime Show has gone downhill ever since they allowed Jay-Z to pick the artists. So now he picks himself? It's going to be another show that many people tune out

Yes in the comics Tommy’s powers are modeled after his uncles’. Yes speedsters can phase so you can still ARGUE the same thing here in the MCU in regard to Tommy’s power being that of his uncles’.
BUT that isn’t what MARVEL TOLD US about TOMMY in the MCU. Remember MCU origins/universe is different from the main comic universe.
There was only a cute lil nod to Tommy and Pietro as it relates to their powers in the WandaVision Halloween episode. A homage if you will. And that wasn’t even “Pietro” it was Agatha possessing a random man and giving him temporary abilities to gaslight Wanda.
However, Marvel had been VERY adamant prior to that to also highlight Vision’s super speed ability. They also highlighted his super speed abilities in WandaVision, specifically when Wanda went into labor and he ran to get the Doctor.
Wanda also quite literally says in the first episode when he talks about the Heart/Hart abbreviation, “You move at the speed of sound and I can make a pen float through the air, who needs to abbreviate”
We have seen Pietro’s super speed in the MCU but we have NOT seen his ability to phase (he’s dead) and Makkari did not show any ability of phasing through solid objects in Eternals. We also did not see Pietro OR Makkari generate any sort of electrical currents/pulses with their abilities.
In conclusion, Thomas’ superspeed abilities are from his FATHER in the MCU, not his uncle, including the phasing. Wanda is very armament in regard to this especially when speaking on the fact that they inherited “tough skin” from Vision as well when she spoke to them about life being meaningless.

I remember when literally NO ONE had a clue what was happening in this show. 😭
Every week, we came up with new theories, debated every little detail, and somehow, all our theories kept failing. 💀
'WANDAVISION' had the entire internet theorizing, overanalyzing every scene, and questioning everything we thought we knew.
No other show had us this invested in solving a mystery.

Ultron being surprisingly KIND to E.D.I.T.H. might be one of the most unexpected moments in #VisionQuest.
For someone who has always been associated with destruction, manipulation, and hatred for humanity, seeing him show this side of himself is genuinely fascinating.
The fact that we actually got to see Ultron treat someone with a little kindness makes this moment hit differently. 🥹
WHO KNEW ULTRON HAD THIS SIDE TO HIM?

Their entire family is mentally unhinged, and somehow that makes them my favorite family in the MCU. 😭😂 #VisionQuest
