a reminder, most of what you see is meant to manipulate you for financial gain.
for example, the AI panic theme that showed up this week was a planned PR campaign for a Netflix documentary.
then there was Steven Spielberg’s 'Disclosure Day' that was proceeded by the alien / UAP marketing campaign that included major players inciting panic on that topic.
it just keeps happening because people are just that unaware and social media is designed for quick hits, not long form informational posts.
you see a headline, a lede or a short form post and you bite. we all do this because it is human nature.
don't be a mark.
🚨 1/ Watch this AI Doomer trailer. Then read the timeline.
Netflix drops “The AI Apocaloptimist Doc” tomorrow — Sept 15 — to 260+ million subscribers.
This film took 3 years to make. It premieres 12 days after Sanders–Casar, 7 days after the Anthropic “whistleblower,” 3 days after Amodei’s “Pace the Frontier.”
That’s not a coincidence. That’s a launch. 🧵👇
H/t @TheRoyalGrift for the scoop.
Discord is about to feed eligible public server channel messages into web searches starting mid-December 2026. Adults in the United States get sharing turned on by default. You can opt out now. If you wait until after they publish, those messages stay indexed. Chat that lived inside a public Discord server can start showing up for anyone running a web search. If you hang around public servers, handle the setting before mid-December 2026. Defaults like this always favor the platform, not you.

You already hunting for that opt-out, or waiting to see how messy it gets?
it is clear that Discord sees it has some issues. what I cannot understand is why they feel that undermining their users' trust is a good way to find success.
people keep pulling away from the product so they went with ID verification and now changing TOS from years of precedent. one trust is lost, it is very hard for a business to regain it.
as for me, I stopped using it and have been encouraging others to seek alternatives for months now.
this is yet another unforced error for Discord.

Just a reminder that the Color Revolution is not actually trying to overthrow President Trump.
Nope.
What they are actually trying to do is overthrow the Constitutional choice of We the People.
That's what this is actually about.
These ex-USAID/CIA/State/military cretins are coming after YOU.
And they are doing it all to "protect our democracy."
GRRRRRRRRR....😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Can relate.
Back in 2004, I went to the Libertarian Party convention in Atlanta, and after the long weekend decided that I would not join. The people who run it are just too removed from the rest of the movement and the rest of the society. They didn't give shit about Iraq! the most important thing in the world at the time. Hardly heard of it apparently. Didn't know how horrible it would look invite hawks to give speeches. Just facepalm.
I tried advising the LP presidential nominee that year. That reinforced the same lesson: This is not worth the effort. I have more important things to do.
A few years ago, I finally joined the LP at the urging of my friends who were working to take the party over in the name of the actual American libertarian movement, as exemplified by the thinking and writing of Dr. Ron Paul, especially.
The real point was to get the party together before we ran Dave Smith for president, which he thankfully in retrospect decided not to do.
Well, at the last convention the libertarians didn't show up, only the Libertarians. So, a gay porn producer and new wave haircut lady and their crew took the party back over.
It really sucks because there are so many good people in the party who work very hard and fight good fights. But the organization itself, as a democracy, is just completely retarded and it always will be.
Today a friend sent me screenshots of these degenerate scum -- specifically the LP of San Francisco -- claiming the right to hurt children because they think freedom means getting away with being a piece of shit and violating the rights of helpless victims.
Send in the SWAT Team.
It's a foregone conclusion that the party leadership will do nothing about this.
The LP always has been and remains a disaster for the good name of our movement.
They'll probably run that filth Joe Walsh for president next time. He fits right in there.
So I hereby officially resign from the Libertarian Party, and will instead continue to fight for liberty by other means.
Commies gonna commie and weak men will cave.
Real Madrid superstar and France captain Kylian Mbappé just learned that calling Mao Zedong “a Chinese dictator” costs major sponsorships overnight.
In a French online show clip, the 27-year-old (one of the world’s highest-paid footballers) was asked about memes of his face on historical figures. He pointed to one and said: “some guy – I think he’s a Chinese dictator.”
Within hours, Chinese brands Dongpeng, Mengniu, and Milkground terminated every deal with zero-tolerance statements about hurting national sentiments. CCTV suspended La Liga coverage. Weibo erupted with boycott calls.
A casual meme comment collided with China’s strictest political taboo around its founding leader. The commercial price was immediate.

Joe McCarthy was correct.
It's why they had to destroy him.
UNDERCOVER: GAVIN NEWSOM SAYS THE DSA IS "GOING TO BE DOMINANT" AND "MAINSTREAM" IN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!
"The DSA, the energy and the desire and demand for bold change, not incremental change, is very much going to be dominant. I mean, that's going to be a mainstream Democratic movement. Absolutely. No question about that."
That's California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a likely 2028 presidential candidate, speaking to an undercover journalist while campaigning in New Hampshire.
Asked by a "younger voter" who said "we don't want Kamala Harris, we want more democratic socialist policies":
"No one is arguing to manage the status quo and fail more efficiently."
"You can't play in the margins anymore. The system's broken. It's completely unbalanced, and we can't manage the decline. We have to completely reimagine."
It is going to be a pain in the ass to do, but I think it is time I close all but the necessary accounts I need for work on Google products.

Vinay Prasad ran vaccines and biologics at the FDA until April. His verdict now: "Public health in this country is so broken."
The core problem is one-size-fits-all medicine. An 80-year-old who has never had COVID and a healthy 7-year-old who already had it are not the same patient. Yet they got the same recommendation, the same shots, and the same boosters.
In real world, that's malpractice. In public health, it was policy.
Medicine works when a doctor looks at the person in front of them: their age, their health, their history, their wishes. That's informed consent. Mandates erased it. Trust won't come back until public health admits what it got wrong.
"Fauci was wrong about almost every single pandemic policy he advanced," the former FDA insider tells Reason.

Obviously.
Stunning admission by California during yesterday’s Ninth Circuit hearing.
California admitted they do nothing to check the citizenship status of voters and will count the illegal ballots of noncitizens who vote. This is why we’re seeking an emergency order. We cannot allow California to dilute legal votes in the upcoming election.
Judge: You agree that if a non-citizen votes and we don’t stop it now, that vote will be counted, correct?
California: That’s absolutely correct.
Tim Cook’s legacy.
Zero innovation. Toxic corporate culture. Complete unwillingness to even listen to their user base. All show and no go.
The iPhone Duo just failed at around 75,000 folds in an independent durability test, At 100 folds a day, 75,000 cycles would be just over two years.
Put that next to Samsung’s numbers and the difference is insane
>iPhone Duo: 75,000 folds in the test
>Galaxy Z Fold8: up to 500,000 folds
That’s over 6× more folding cycles on Samsung’s rating.
A Galaxy Z Fold7 was manually folded 200,000 times and was still functioning at the end of the test
Burn it down.
BREAKING: Microsoft offers voluntary buyouts to 60,000 employees. 60,000 employees will not leave the company, but this is still huge
Microsoft's Chief People Officer Amy Coleman confirmed a new Voluntary Exit Offer (VEO), which allows eligible employees to leave with financial support and career planning resources.
Microsoft explains:
"This offer gives eligible employees who may be considering a future outside the company a new choice to make that transition now with support. It also gives participating organizations another way to adapt their workforce to changing needs."
The program covers four countries, including the United States.
"This offer will be available to eligible employees in participating teams in Canada, India, the United Kingdom and the United States at level 70 and below."
However, Microsoft says the program isn't company-wide.
"Some organizations are providing the Voluntary Exit Offer, and some are not. Participation varies based on each business’s priorities, customer commitments and workforce needs."

Hitler, Mussolini y Stalin simplemente representaron tres variantes del socialismo. Subordinaban el individuo al Estado, concentraban el poder y fueron enemigos de la sociedad libre. La diferencia principal era si dividían a la gente por clase, nación o raza.
