Quick @NotionHQ tip - instead of creating a database, start with a simple table. This will allow you to try out different structure ideas without having to deal with db properties.
Then after you're happy with columns, just turn your table into a database:

Two reasons to use the Notion desktop app:
• 50% faster performance than web
• a more focused writing experience
And now, you’ll be able to set links to open in desktop by default!
ALT This is a Quarterly goals database in the Notion web app. At the bottom of the page is a pop-up asking the user if they want to open the page in Notion's desktop app.

Twitter 2.0 housekeeping for the day:
✅ Revue subscribers exported to Substack and newsletter shut down
✅ Linktree link in bio replaced with links page in @NotionHQ
(feel free to duplicate if you want to make your own)

Please @NotionHQ - give us some better color options 🙏🏼. I’m sure every shade of off-white is very San Francisco but my inner child needs vivid color schemes to keep my attention.
If I’ve learned one thing from using @tana_inc so far, it’s that I am indeed still a child and I’m a sucker for vivid colors. It’s just so pretty.

Notion supports tabs now 🤯 I can't think of another app that delivered so many useful updates in such a short time 🎉
New @NotionHQ feature just dropped:
You can now open multiple tabs in the desktop apps!
(Live on MacOS now; may still be rolling out on Windows)
- Ctrl/Cmd + T to create a new tab
- Ctrl/Cmd + 1, 2, 3, etc. to switch between tabs
- Ctrl/Cmd + click to open a page in a new tab
