Went to look at cars and that did not go well. Saw a small SUV we liked. Asked about price on sticker and coming down on that. He said lets see what we can do. Go inside and he comes back with a price sheet for payments. Starts circling stuff at different financing years. I ignore this info and look at the price. It is now $10k higher than we talked. I said what is this about. He said well you don't qualify for the rebates to make it the sticker price. (Not a first responder, I don't own a newer jeep, Blah blah blah) I said I am not interested. I will buy it for this price. He goes to ask manager for a yes or no. Instead he comes back with manager. I get annoyed. He asks what can we do to get you in this vehicle. I said come down off of the price you have it listed for outside and cut the fine print bullshit you are trying to pull. He says he is not gonna talk to me unless I am civil. I'm at a loss for words and begin to get angry. He asks again what can he do. I repeat my original request. He says you gotta work with me. I get up and leave.
