We honestly couldn't be more excited!
When we first started this process, Clark's geneticist told us that she expected getting insurance approval to be a long and difficult road due to its nearly 4 million dollar price tag. She anticipated having to write letters, make phone calls, and fight to get the approval we needed. Even she was surprised to see that our insurance provider didn't put up any sort of fight.
We were told that the final step is UofM working with a specialty pharmacy to coordinate transportation and obtain the medication. Once that is taken care of, we will finally be able to schedule Clark's treatment day!
One step closer. We'll never stop fighting for you Clarky.
