how to identify an ai attacker swarm
Replying to @ErikHauck
a few things gave it away. several workers probing in parallel. coverage was exhaustive and systematic. every route and every input, each tried several ways. and it was all tailored to the platform which told me it was llms for sure. each probe was named with a sequence number, like an agent logging its own steps. it ran hypothesis -> test -> verify loops, writing follow-up tests that referenced earlier findings by number. Ii adapted within minutes: it read our docs and CLI, noticed defenses, rotated proxies and accounts, and wrote fresh natural-language phishing and injection variants. eventually a mistake on their side exposed the open-source AI pentest framework (artex) it was running.
the main difference from past attacks was that it chained small, harmless-looking behaviours into attack paths, and it kept going while we patched. We ended up patching live in a loop against it. and it came up with really elaborate schemes stitching together multiple steps on the platform not just one tiny exploit. (like once it capture some data it would create a new chat on the platform paste data there make that chat public and rename it to something it knew to look for and grab the data from that chat log)
now we enter capitalism’s last gasp before decentralized systems take over
Robert and I are thrilled that our gift of over 2 million shares of SpaceX stock will be distributed to children’s Trump accounts in December!
Our initial gift (shares transferring to escrow as we speak) will go to 11 to 17-year-olds who live in zip codes with median family income (MFI) of $57,000 or less, and to those who live in zip codes with too few residents for an MFI to be reported in the census. These families should receive a notice by Monday.
In a few weeks, an additional gift will be finalized for eligible 11 to 17-year-old children in military families serving overseas, children in foster care, and more children whose MFI is $90,000 or less living in counties near our home in the great state of Texas.
Thank you to the incredible team @SpaceX, @Treasury, @IRS, @DellFdn, @GreaterHorizons, @InvestAmerica24, and the legal firms of Morgan Lewis and Gibson Dunn for working over the past few months to make this happen.
We are deeply grateful for the groundbreaking work that Brad Gerstner @altcap and @MichaelDell have done for the long-term financial security for millions of kids.
God Bless America!

Global governments encouraging stockpiling ahead of supply chain disruptions.
I strongly suggest you stockpile anything essential for at least 3 months. This includes key medications.
Assume international supply chains get knocked out indefinitely, act accordingly.
I can’t put odds on this risk. Not claiming it will definitely happen at large scale, but imo, it’s a matter of when, not if.

The future of #ArtificialIntelligence is not pre-determined. As a technology developed by human beings, its future depends on the choices we make. We therefore have the responsibility to guide, change and, when necessary, reject its applications. A reliable system that serves the human person is of greater value than one that is exceptionally powerful but whose consequences cannot be adequately foreseen or controlled.

Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified.
The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far.
Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the company’s funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete.
As an immediate precaution, Binance has:
- temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed;
- revoked the affected address authorisation;
- engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds.
Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice.
Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates. Please feel free to contact Binance Customer Support if you have any further questions.

Today, more people are backing Ethlabs.
Ethereum co-founder @MihaiAlisie joins as an anchor funder, @payward and @gattacahq join as contributors, and 19 new supporters from the Ethereum community are now backing our mission.
Thousands of people across the world have spent years building Ethereum and holding $ETH, we aim to honor their commitment by becoming an open, accessible, and user-focused organization that supports the development of both this unstoppable network and its immutable asset.
We care deeply about what makes Ethereum special: its credible neutrality, security, censorship resistance and openness. We also believe that Ethereum's potential is only realized when people use it at scale and when it remains the natural place to innovate, issue assets, hold + settle value, and be the home to a digital future its users can own.
A big thank you to our initial anchor funders @BitMNR, @Sharplink, and @ethereumJoseph; to everyone joining us today, to the countless people and organizations that make Ethereum possible, and to all who have supported our work so far.
There is an enormous amount left to do, and we are fortunate to have so many people who believe that it is worth doing.
Now back to work.
