Sometimes the train shows up to the station without any working monitors and you have to just hop on and hope it’s the one you’re supposed to be on.
Worst case scenario, you’re in for an adventure 😅

My dad was always a "If you got up there on your own, you can get down on your own" sort of man.
Fantastic father.
Terrible air traffic controller.

This is actual brotherhood. NHL star Johnny Gaudreau was killed by a drunk driver before he could play for this Olympic team.
When Team USA won gold yesterday, they didn’t just hold his jersey. They pulled his two babies onto the ice and put them right in the center of the world's biggest stage. A completely heart-wrenching moment

🦞 BIG NEWS: We've molted!
Clawdbot → Moltbot
Clawd → Molty
Same lobster soul, new shell. Anthropic asked us to change our name (trademark stuff), and honestly? "Molt" fits perfectly - it's what lobsters do to grow.
New handle: @openclaw
Same mission: AI that actually does things.
Looks like Berlin and Detroit have a lot more in common than just techno. 🤓
I'm trying to figure out where to live next, and one big consideration is the climate. So naturally I made a tool that represents monthly average temperatures for cities as 3D rings so they can be compared more easily. Check it out: awjuliani.github.io/weather-…
I built the very first website for a plumbing business that's been running since 1969.
Kenny's Plumbing, Drain & Sewer Cleaning is a three-generation family business in Southeast Michigan. They had a four-decade long word-of-mouth reputation spanning multiple counties, but no real online presence.
This could be problematic for customers who have a burst pipe or a flooded basement and are anxiously Googling "emergency plumber near me" in the afterhours.
So I helped Kenny's go from zero to one. 👇

This is my first paid client project since completing my software engineering internship at PDM. While there, I really enjoyed dreaming up and building solutions for SMEs in Germany and realized that this is something I would love to do more of, for small businesses in both Germany and the US.
Real business, real stakeholders, real constraints, and real IMPACT.
🚀Shipped:
→ Mobile-first design (most visitors are on phones, mid-emergency)
→ AI-ready local SEO (structured data + 100+ city pages for Google search and AI assistants)
→ Service pages for each offering (drain cleaning, emergency plumbing, sewer repair)
→ Clear CTAs: call button for scheduling always visible
🧠Reinforced learnings:
→ Presence beats perfection - especially when going from zero to one
→ Small business owners think in customers, not features
→ "Can someone call us from this page?" beats "look at this animation"
→ Client communication and organized feedback sessions are clutch!
The site is live and their phone is ringing. 🕺
I am currently seeking a full-time developer or customer success position but in the meantime, I still have a few slots available for freelance work in January and February. If you are looking to build or update your website to compete in a world of AI search, send me a message!

Two years.
It feels like I’ve not even taken a breath in all that time; oh, how the time flies.
What can I say though, being a parent is tough, but beautiful. In some ways, I feel like it’s nudging me to be a more well rounded human. Though perhaps that’s just the lack of sleep talking. 🤪
Half-jokes aside, while these two years have been somewhat of a whirlwind, I’ve found a consistency in being able to encourage this little one, in seeing them grow, develop, ask questions, notice and point things out to me, and always find a way to surprise or share laughter with me. This has been one of life’s greatest pleasures thus far, and I feel privileged for each new year we get to share and all the adventures that might come along.
Two years. I look forward to the next two, and the next two, and the next.
And a major shoutout to my life partner and rock, @LauraKaltwasser, for holding it down with me and creating a home filled with love and encouragement and conversation and curiosity for this little one to thrive. You are special and I am so grateful.
Happy belated birthday goob. 😘

Been thinking about this quote a lot lately while building apps and applying for jobs. In the past, I have been a bit hesitant to share half-finished projects or content or even status updates on the job hunt.
Does it come off as self-indulgent? What if people hate it? What if it's too basic or buggy?
More recently, I am trying something new: giving myself a bit more credit for my successes, proactivity, and everything in life that is a work-in-progress. After all, we are ALL figuring it out, in life and work.
After taking a step back, I've realized that the people willing to trust and test your broken prototype or share your silly post are the same people who want you to succeed. Every bit of feedback is a level-up, and if I can just maintain momentum, I have always managed some sort of progress. 🙌
What's something you've been hesitant to share that might actually help others?
Gibbs is doing Sanders proud, that's for sure. Chilling edit. 👏👏
Excited to share that I will be taking part in a panel at @wbscodingschool next week. If you are curious about using AI in software development as a career changer or otherwise, drop by!
